Chapter six

Recap!

I don't hate you... of course I don't I just- I can't believe you did it... what if Felix hadn't disagreed?'

'I- I don't know I'm so so sorry, please forgive me...' Mia said, giving Lily pleading eyes.

Lily thought about it for a moment before nodding, ' fine... but you have to promise never to interfere like that again... ... and I want a box of those crunchy chocolates you made.'

'Deal' Mia laughed before pulling Lily into a hug.

It took Lily a few days to speak to her father again, she couldn't believe his business partner cared more about her than he did!

Eventually she did begin speaking to him again, he wouldn't stop getting her gifts and chocolate to try make it up to her, so she just gave up and said she forgave him.

Things with Wonka didn't seem to be getting much better either. He had began selling chocolate again, but he was more subtle about it... apart from the massive dance numbers and singing the chocolate appeared to cause.

Somehow he always seemed to get away. The chocolate cartel had bribed the police into stopping him from selling chocolate, seeing as he hadn't set up an actual stall, technically there was nothing they could do.

But of course Arthur got around that by bribing the chief of police.

'Have you got a sweet tooth?' He had sang

Both Lily and Mia had been extremely confused by the sudden dance number the trio had performed though Lily did rather enjoy watching Felix.

' have you got a sweet tooth?'

' i do'

' well we've got everything you need' he had sang with a wink, causing Lily's breath to catch in her throat.

How could he make the simplest of actions seem so attractive.

This had gained her an elbow in the rib from Mia who gave her a disapproving glance.

Since that day when Felix had come to find her, something had changed between the two. Felix would quite often greet her when they crossed paths, and more than just a casual good morning/afternoon.

He would ask how she was and show genuine interest in her answer, she didn't know what was happening, but she knew she liked the new dynamic, however Mia didn't seem to. Even after that day, she still seemed to disapprove of Lily's feelings for Felix.

The two continued to watch the three convincing the chief to  do their dirty work.

' Keep your retched chocolates!'

' 1800 boxes?'

' oh... deal!' He said shaking on it, wincing at Slugworths tight grip.

Lily pulled a face, that sounded rather sickly, 1800 boxes of chocolate was a hell of a lot.

Felix came and sat next to her and raised an eyebrow, wondering why she was pulling a face.

' that's an awful lot of chocolate... I can't see this ending well for him' Lily muttered

'Come now, it will be fine, once that Wonka boy is gone, he won't need bribing anymore.' Felix smiled, confident in what he was saying.

Lily however wasn't so sure.

So it's been a while, again this is kinda a boring chapter, I do really want to get to the relationship bit but obviously I don't want to rush things either 😭😭😭
