The trees swayed, dancing to the wind.

The two boys continued on their journey. With no idea where they were or where they were going, the situation is what you'd call, blind leading the blind. Katsuki walked in front as always, and Izuku trailed close behind. On their trip, they encountered many small animals. It's a forest after all. Izuku's favorite sighting was the bunnies they had nearly stepped on, cuddled up tightly to remain warm. Their comfortability almost made Izuku jealous. Katsuki's favorite sighting was the little red fox that had crossed their path. It was adorable, but Katsuki would never say that out loud.

Birds flew above their heads, chirping singing to the world. The trees ran tall above their heads. Izuku had never realized how tall they were. Izuku spent his time taking in the scenery of the forest. It was scary, even terrifying. But it was also beautiful. He lived in the city his whole life, so this was a once in a lifetime experience; Even though they were brought here from an attack. His gazing was interrupted when the boy in front of him stopped abruptly, causing him to bump into his back. "What are we stopping for-" Katsuki covered Izuku's mouth. "Shut up. Don't move." He followed, looking around for the reason of this behavior. He turned to his side, revealing a large moose. It locked eyes with Izuku. "Kacchan, I don't believe moose are violent. It's just minding it's business." Katsuki grabbed Izuku's arm tightly. "Just walk slowly until we're out of it's sight." They two boys slowly crept, the moose keeping it's eye on them.

"Okay. Make sure we're out of it's sight and-" Katsuki interrupted himself as he tripped on a large tree trunk, making a loud noise on the leaves and sticks that broke beneath him. The boys froze. This was enough to bring full attention to them, the moose finally making its move. It started slowly towards them, then a full attack. "Kacchan. KACCHAN MOVE." The two boys jumped to their feet and ran. The moose ran quickly behind, crushing the bushes as he moved. Katsuki grabbed a large branch as he ran and threw it aggressively to the moose, slowing it down. "DROP THE WATER." He shouted. Izuku dropped the water quickly. The moose was now angrier than before, and charged quicker to the boys. Katsuki ran as fast as his legs would let him, swerving as much as he can to disrupt the moose. But during his attempts to escape, he realized Izuku was no longer by his side. But this wasn't a time to worry about that. There was a moose behind him, seeking to kill.

Katsuki reached into his pockets and pulled anything he could. He threw large stones he had collected viciously at his attacker, doing little to no damage. He threw the mushrooms he had found earlier on the ground. He threw large sticks he could pick up on his run. Nothing stopped the moose's rage. The moose was getting faster, or maybe Katsuki was getting slower. "SHIT! FUCKING ATTACK SOMETHING ELSE" The moose had gained on him, and Katsuki braced for the impact. The moose lowered his head, attacking with its Antlers. Right before impact, Katsuki realized a shaking on the trees above.

Just then, like in some type of hero move, Izuku falls from the tree above, wielding a spear. He crashed down on top of the moose, grabbing its antlers. The moose buckled to the sudden weight of the boy. It thrashed around, attempting to throw Izuku off. "FUCK!" Izuku yelled, stabbing the moose multiple times on its back. The moose cried in the pain, jumping harder to remove the boy. Izuku kept stabbing the moose, aggressively and strongly. The moose finally succeeded, throwing Izuku off of its back. Izuku flew quickly off its back, crashing into a nearby tree. The impact left him dazed. The world began to spin as Izuku laid limp against the tree. His vision blurred and he was unable to move. His body ached. He was able to make out a large object charging him. As his eyes darkened, he heard a loud voice. "DIE!!"

...

Izuku finally came too. His head pounding. He recognized Katsuki, laying on a nearby tree. He continued to examine the situation. He saw the moose not too far from Katsuki, now lying on its side. It had suffered multiple stab wounds and succumbed to its injuries. Izuku adverted his eyes back to Katsuki, who was covered in blood. His own blood. "Kacchan!" Izuku stands quickly, using the tree to balance. Katsuki looks up, just realizing the green haired boy had woken up. "DEKU. Deku, just...ah fuck just wait. Your head's bleeding like hell." Izuku finally realizes the blood raining from his hair. He reaches his hand to touch the back of his head. He looks at his hand once more to reveal the blood that is draining from him. Nevertheless, he ignores Katsuki's warning and continues to walk towards him, finally sitting at his side. Katsuki had a large cut along his stomach and arm, his arm showing the most damage. "Damn moose got me. To hell with it." Izuku takes takes the bottom on Katsuki's pants and rips them, using the fabric as a bandage. He slowly wraps it around his arm, making sure it's tight enough to stop the bleeding. Katsuki winces at the pain. "It's alright. Your alright. It..It isn't too deep." Once he finishes wrapping his arm, he continues the same process. He ripped the fabric from the second leg and tied it tightly around his waist. It was rookie work, but was enough to stop the bleeding.

"Okay..I'm done. You're fine. You'll be fine....and..uh.." Izuku stutters in his speech. "S..sorry I just.." Izuku sat beside Katsuki, holding his head. "Your head is still bleeding, dumbass." Katsuki repeats Izuku, ripping the fabric from Izuku's pants to create a bandage for his head. Izuku stares at Katsuki as he ties his head tightly. "Y'know..I'm getting really tired suddenly." "NO. NO YOUR NOT. Don't fucking close your eyes moron." Katsuki pulled the bandage too tight, causing Izuku to flinch. "You go to sleep and you're not fucking waking up." Katsuki finished wrapping Izuku up and stands. "I'll get the weapons we lost. Better pray to god that the water hadn't spilled." Izuku didn't speak, watching Katsuki leave to retrieve the items they had discarded. "Kacchan, how did you kill the moose?" Katsuki collected the spears and threw them beside Izuku. "Stabbed it in the fucking eye, that's how." Luckily the moose was facing the other way. Just the thought of how it looked made him feel nauseous.

"I'm fucking tired. We need to get home Kacchan." "We've only been here for 2 days. Toughen up."
"We both almost DIED. Toughen up my ass."

Katsuki was able to retrieve the water and meat. The sun began to set, casting a darkening spell on the forest. "We can't stay here. We need to go somewhere else" Izuku began. "There's blood here. A lot of it. It'll attract more animals." Izuku stood to his feet, steadier than before. Katsuki stuffed the spears and sticks into his pockets before lifting the bag of meat over his shoulder. The pain that came from this action caused Katsuki to drop the bag quickly. Izuku, already carrying the water bag, noticed Katsuki having trouble with the bag. "Do you need help?" Izuku reaches across to take the bag before Katsuki swatted his hand. "I can hold my own shit Deku." He attempts once more to threw the bag over his shoulder, this time not able to even lift the bag. "Your arm is hurt. Just let me carry it." Katsuki swats at Izuku once more. "I'll carry my own shit I said." He picks up the bag again. "Kacchan, drop the FUCKING BAG."

The sudden rise of his voice startled Katsuki. He dropped the bag quickly as Izuku took ahold of it and tossed it over his other shoulder. "I'm not a little bitch anymore. I can hold two bags, damnit."

Izuku began to walk, stumbling as he went. "Can't even fucking walk straight, but I can't carry my bags." Katsuki scuffed at Izuku. The green haired boy turned to face Katsuki, anger filling his eyes. "What do you want me to do. You can't carry the bag, I can't fucking see straight, and we if we remain here, we will be literal predator bait. So, what the FUCK should we do? Last time I checked, we were BOTH stuck in this forest. Not just you. Honestly, neither of us would be here if you had just followed the fucking instructions and just stayed in your dorm. but no. You took it upon yourself to ignore that. You ignore the rules, you ignore the dangers, then you ignore me. But then you expect it to all to go your way? Bullshit." Izuku was now crying tears, angry tears. The stress he had been hiding finally poured out.

Katsuki stayed still. It was rare for Izuku to allow his emotions, especially negative emotions to spill like he had just done. "Okay. Let's go." Katsuki walks ahead of Izuku without looking back. Izuku walked behind, wiping his face from the tears that had fell. What was he thinking? He knew what he said was wrong. He knew it was hurtful. But he remained silent, refusing to say a word to the blond boy. They remained silent. The quiet held significance in the way. They were falling apart.

They made it a safe distance from the previous battle area and found a reasonable place to spend the night. Katsuki started the fire as Izuku placed the deer meat over the fire to cook. When the meat finished, the put 2 containers of water over the fire to boil. Once they cooled, they ate their meal. No words were said.

The silence killed Katsuki. Izuku's words danced in his mind, ringing. It was his fault they were there. He didn't even plan to go out that night. He only wanted to prove that he wasn't bound to rules. As simple as just being defiant got them into this mess. Izuku was injured badly, and he himself wasn't able to carry anything. But he there was something Katsuki kept from Izuku.

Something Katsuki had felt the need to hide.

Izuku fell asleep first. He laid close to the fire they had created for the night. Katsuki prepared his area for the night as well, laying slowly to not affect the wounds he had received. He laid on his back, holding onto his stomach. Luckily he was able to stop the bleeding before Izuku saw. He couldn't let Izuku know.

Izuku couldn't know of the large hole the moose had pierced into his stomach.
