The night proved to be stubborn towards Katsuki.
It was easy to hide the wound on his stomach, but it was a different task to treat it. He laid awake throughout the night, wondering what to do. What would happen next. How will he continue. Will he survive?
These thoughts circled Katsuki's mind. His wound continued to bleed, slowly seeping onto his clothes. "I'm gonna die." That's all he could think of. "Im gonna fucking die. Shit. I can't die. I have to.." He could just tell Izuku. That would fix it. Izuku would help him. Without a doubt. But... He'd worry. They boy is sick. Something is wrong with him. Deku doesn't think rationally for himself on a usual basis, and he damn sure wasn't thinking straight right now. Katsuki found himself slipping into unconsciousness as the warm blood covered his body. Fuck.
Katsuki reached his arm, touching Izuku softly. "Deku. Deku wake up." Izuku slowly awoke, shifting around on the ground. "What's wrong." he bluntly responded. Izuku didn't turn to speak to him. It was quite obvious Izuku was still angry, and this new piece of information wasn't gonna make it any better. "Hey...Deku. Don't go batshit." Izuku finally sat up, turning to Katsuki. "What do you mean..." He turned to see Katsuki, covered in his own blood. The gapping hole pulsated, pumping more and more blood out. Izuku froze, staring at the scene. "Don't....Don't go batshit. I can't fucking move." Izuku shot up to his feet, still staring at Katsuki with wide eyes. "Fuck." he whispered. "What...What the fuck Kacchan. I.." Izuku finally made his way to Katsuki, putting pressure on the wound. Katsuki winced at the pain. Izuku was panicking. Katsuki knew it. Wasn't long before Deku truly went batshit. It was sort of like the calm before the storm.
Izuku stood and quickly ran to the forest. He needed something. Anything. It was my luck that he found exactly what he needed. Izuku got ahold of an aloe vera plant, which with his little knowledge knew was good for treating wounds. He grabbed as much as he could hold, finding large leaves along the way. Izuku came back to Katsuki, immediately placing the Aloe Vera on Katsuki's stomach. Katsuki had fell unconscious, laying still on the ground.
...
The sun finally arose, awakening Katsuki from his sleep. He found his wounds tightly wrapped in a carefully woven bandage made of leaves. It was very well made. Katsuki sat up, noticing Izuku sitting against a nearby tree. "Deku. We should probably leave. We need to keep going." Katsuki stood up slowly. clutching his stomach that seemed to ache less. Izuku looked at Katsuki. Katsuki knew this look in his eyes. It reminded him.
"I'm not going anywhere." he finally spoke. "Im staying here. To hell with trying to get back. We're gonna die in this shit hole." Katsuki was shocked by this announcement. Izuku was the last one to give up. "Deku-"
"Don't fucking Deku me, Katsuki." The sudden loss of his childhood nickname sent a chill up Katsuki's spine. Deku was pissed. Really pissed.
"What's wrong with you?? Deku I'm fine now I-"
"You hid it from me. You fucking hid a hole in your stomach! Who does that?! What the actual FUCK are you thinking??!!"
"It doesn't matter anymore. I'm alive, your alive, I could care less right now."
"What about how I feel? I care. Get that through your dumbass brain."
"I don't understand why your angry."
"Why am I angry? WHY AM I ANGRY? YOU WERE GOING TO FUCKING DIE."
"You're one funny bitch to say that."
The rift between the boys became tense. Izuku hated arguing. He hated it. But he was tired. Emotions that he kept within his own mind and heart quickly began to spill out his mouth like garbage and he didn't know how to stop it. He was angry. And sad. And guilty. He hated arguing. He hated himself.
