*Lost* / Izuku's and Katsuki's Journey

Chapter 10

Katsuki and Vin arrived back to the cave carrying stored water they had found.

They brought it to the back, placing them down slowly as to not wake up Izuku in the process. Izuku had been asleep for hours, only sometimes opening his eyes and mumbling a few words before going back to his rest. Katsuki had grown concerned.

"Hey lad, maybe it's time we start heading off. Y'know, leave the cave."

Katsuki felt a chill run down his spine. "Leave? Why? This is the perfect cover for this place! We barely survived out there on our own and-"

Vin jabbed Katsuki on the arm. "Let me finish, dammit. We aren't getting anywhere just hanging out here and your friend isn't any getting better either. It may not be safe for him or us to stay in one place, especially without knowing what's wrong."

Katsuki rolled his eyes, letting out an annoyed sigh. "He's strong. He can handle it, as much as I hate to admit it. We need to just stay here."

"Yeah, the kids strong with his quirk. But here? In the forest without his quirk? The kid's like every other teenager. He's gonna die if we just try and wait it out."

Die? Izuku is going to die? Katsuki allowed this to circle his mind. Vin was right. If Deku were to die, especially because of his own decisions, he'd never forgive himself. Deku can't die. Maybe this is more serious than he had thought?

"You okay kid?" Vin shook his hand in front of Katsuki, snapping him back.

"Yeah. Yeah uh. You're right. We should go. I'll pack."

Katsuki went to the piles of items they had ran through and tossed, wishing they had cleaned up a little more in the process. "When do you plan on leaving?"

"An hour."

Katsuki snapped his neck around. "An hour?! It's around 8pm right now! Why would we leave at night??"

"Just my preference."

The blonde boy took a deep breath. It wasn't a matter to argue about anyways. Leaving at night wouldn't harm anyone.

Vin picked up a bag from the ground. "You finish up here. I'll go check on Izuku."

"I'm pretty sure he made it clear that he doesn't wanna see your face."

Vin chuckled. "The boys asleep. He won't even notice! Just clean up this garbage lad." Katsuki seethed with anger at this request. Who does he think he is, ordering him to clean like this?

Vin entered the front of the cave where Izuku was. "Don't."

Vin scoffed. "Oh now your up? This'll make things harder."

Izuku gazed at Vin, terror filling his eyes. "I'll call Kacchan. I'll-.."

"Say a goddamn word and I'll kill you both. You got that?"

Izuku shook. his voice quieter and trembling. "What do you want."

"What do I want? Well right now kid what I want is for you to hold still, alright?"

Vin reached into the his bag, pulling out a small container and a syringe. "Don't worry. You won't remember a thing."

Vin places the needle in the container, filling it with the liquid from inside.

"What the hell is that?" Vin grabbed Izuku's arm, pulling it closer to him. Izuku fought back, kicking his feet at the man. "Get away! Don't touch me! Get the hell away!!"

"Hey kid? You won't have to worry anymore after this. Afterall, at this point....."

Vin jabbed the syringe into Izuku's arm. Izuku's kicks became weaker until they finally fell still, his breathing becoming slower.
