10. Lucky Call.

I laughed as Papa Chris chases Red around in his wheelchair. The old man's really in the mood to act younger today.

Their voices echoing around the living room, I laid on the couch just watching the two.

Jared came down from his room and smiled when he saw the two. He sneaked up to Red and with one arm, swept him off the ground while his other hand tickles his belly.

Red laughed uncontrollably shouting for me to come save him.

Jared walked to me and suddenly dump the little guy on my stomach, I didn't have the time to flex my stomach which made me let out a slightly painful 'oof'.

Jared smirks before walking away to sit on the couch across from me.
I looked at Red who was busy staring at my face, I stared back at my adorable son.

He soon looked away and laid his head on my chest relaxing completely on me.

Today's Saturday and everyone is just laying around at home, my friends are hanging out at the gym though. I had refused Lawrence when he came to pick up Red as usual, my son needs a break from Michael after he almost choked him claiming to be teaching him how to participate in an eating competition.

What twenty five years old competes with a three year old boy? Michael, apparently. Yes, he is two years younger than us but that doesn't justify the fact that he is an idiot.

I wonder how that fucker would be when he has his own child, I pity his Wife-to-be.

I'm thankful that Michael wasn't the only child of his parents, they would have died of frustration. Poor Mr and Mrs Collins, they are very nice people.

Papa Chris wheeled himself towards Jared peeking into his iPad. Jared glanced at him and shook his head before he concentrated back on the screen.

Red stirred on top of me, he looks towards Jared, then look back at me. He repeated the same motion three times. Everything he does is just so adorable, he doesn't talk a lot but he's very fluent already.

He wiggled on top of me sitting up before climbing down as I aided him. He walked briskly to Jared and went to stand by his other side peeking into the iPad. Jared immediately notices him and smiled picking him up unto his lap.

“Who's the best baby? Yes, you are.” He said in a funny deep voice which made Red smile before focusing back on the device's screen.

I wonder what got them so interested.
I looked away shutting my eyes, today's so boring. There's literally nothing to do, I wish June was here, the house is a bit more lively whenever my elder sister is around.

She is still upset with Jared and I, she hasn't been picking my calls after the last time she had called. Her actions were only provoking me to go pay her an unannounced visit, she won't be pleased at all.

My mind went back to what happened four days ago with Jared's date.

Ini, that's her name, a very uncommon name I would say. Yet, it somehow feels like the name was created just for her. I don't think any other name would have fitted her more.

I wonder how she must have felt after realizing that I gave her an incomplete number. I was just having fun and it was kind of a challenge for her also. She's probably going to punch me twice for it when we meet again.

The sudden giggles of Red brought me out of my thoughts. Opening my eyes, I looked towards them to see Jared winking at him making Red let out a fit of giggles again.
