[Atlas / Daytime]
After a few days at his new job and a good look at the military structure, he filed a complaint to Ironwood. The one delivering his letter is Winter, she took a good look at it and was quite angered about it. She wanted to confront Vladimir but he was nowhere to be seen, so she delivered it to Ironwood.
She entered his office and saluted "General." he saluted back.
"At ease." She handed him the letter which he took a look into "What's this?"
"It's from the newly appointed captain." She answered, Ironwood looked confused, why did he need to send a letter? And after reading it, he soon found out and clenched his fist.
"Who is he to tell me what to do?" He sighed and held his head in his hands. "Find him and tell him to meet me here."
"Yes sir." She saluted and left to find Vladimir.
[With Vladimir]
He was currently observing recruits training with their trainers supervising them, Winter soon stood by his side. "Captain." She looked at him and he turned to her and answered "Lieutenant." she stared coldly into his eyes.
"Ironwood wants to meet you in his office."
"You sure took your sweet time." She scowled at his remark and started to leave.
"Just follow me." He did as he was told and followed Winter to Ironwood's office, where the big man himself was looking out of a window.
"You wanted to speak with me?" Winter stood next to the general's table and kept an eye on him.
"Yes, do you mind telling me about this?" He pointed at the letter sent by Vlad.
"You need to reform your army." He said bluntly, "I've seen better military structure with peasants who defend themselves."
"What do you mean? We have all this tech and machines. No one would dare to fight with us." Ironwood tried to stand his ground.
"And someone hacks your Knights, it is game over. What good are these good quality weapons and machines, if a man does not know how to use them?" He got them there. Ironwood sat down in his chair and facepalmed.
"And what do you suggest, captain?" He asked Ironwood with venom in his tone of voice.
"I'm glad you asked." Vlad handed him a notebook and blueprints. "New uniforms, weapons, rank system, strategies, and so on. I just need your approval."
Ironwood took a quick look at all the things shown to him before speaking. "Do you think that we have enough resources to pull this off? We already got a well-trained military!" He was starting to get pissed.
"Ironwood, you are being irrational. This doesn't change our budget, it just changes the military. I've done the math." Vlad tried to reason. "And besides, you'll like it."
"You know what? I'll read through this, if I like the theory of this, I'll allow it, but if the practical part of this fails..." He threatened Vlad.
"Relax, it will."
"Good, dismissed."
Vlad left Ironwood's office and headed to his own office reading a mail card he received. It was an invitation to some sort of party hosted by none other than Jacques Schnee. He quickly called Milos to tell him the news.
"Yeah?" Milos finally answered. "What is it?"
"Are you in Atlas?"
"The city?"
