It was Yuvika's wedding today and so I woke up a little early than everyone. At 10.
Everyone cried and laughed and danced yesterday. Almost everyone from our school group was there yesterday and will be here today as well.
It was refreshing and nostalgic to meet all the people I grew up with. Everyone's successful and happy and a few got married.
During the light show, Krish held my hand and the whole time I could feel his eyes on me.
He was still sleeping when I got out of the shower and got ready. He looked like a baby in his sleep.
He hugged a pillow when I got out of bed and it made me chuckle.
His phone started ringing and I didn't want him to ruin his sleep so I put it on silent first and then saw that it was Sara calling.
I picked up the call.
"Hi Sara" I said "How are you?"
"Anika Bhabhi?" She said "HIIII KAISE HO AAP? AAPNE ITNE DINO SE CALL HI NAHI KARA" She said in an excited voice.
I talked to her on the phone for a few minutes. She told me her exams ended and she's graduating college. Her job won't start for a few months so she's going to Bangalore and will visit Delhi once too.
She also told me that our parents are gonna meet soon to discuss about the date of the wedding.
I got really excited.
I looked at Krish who was still sleeping like a baby. I went by his bedside and kneeled down by his side. There was not a single frown or tension on his face when he slept.
I gently brushed a hand through his hair and kissed his forehead. When I got up and started to leave, a hand grabbed my wrist and I saw Krish holding it.
His eyes were still closed but he said "Ek aur please"
I chuckled and kissed his forehead again. His smile widened and he opened his eyes. He stretched a little before sitting up.
"I hope every morning is like this" He said.
I hit him on his shoulder lightly and left the room. I went to Yuvika's room and saw that she was still sleeping.
Her phone was in her hand and so I took it and put it on full volume. I searched for blowhorn sound and held it above her ear.
When the sound went on, she quickly got up and looked around. When she saw me, she groaned.
"What the hell yaar" She said and kept a hand on her eyes.
"Wake up abhi k abhi" I said and pulled the comforter off of her "It's already 12"
Her eyes widened. "12???" She said and quickly checked her phone to see like a thousand missed calls and texts from her mom.
She got out of the bed and locked herself in the bathroom.
Yuvika's family was supposed to go to a mandir nearby at 1 for blessings.
She'd have to get ready straight up after visiting the mandir because there won't be much time left after that.
The families decided to have a sunset wedding for beautiful pictures.
