Tang presented the map, nudging his glasses shyly, "So, where to next?" Wukong examined it closely, his body stiff and his eyes focusing solely on the old parchment.
"Oh, the moon's next." Pigsy nearly snapped his neck, eyes beaming as he faced the monkey, "Where Chang'e lives?!" Wukong hummed, unaware of the chef's excitement, "That makes sense. If it's up there, she definitely knows about it."
MK gasped, "WE'RE GOING TO THE MOON?!" The ginger snorted, resisting the urge to ruffle the brunette's hair, "Yup. Do you know how, bud?" Mei blinked owlishly, looking around, "Mac isn't here to get you guys up there, though." Red Son rolled his eyes, "Unless they had some sort of vehicle--"
Wukong snapped his fingers, "Alright, MK, turn the van into a spaceship." The student sputtered, staring at his mentor incredulously, "What?! But most of my powers are still out!" The king huffed, waving his hand, "I believe in you, bud! Besides, confidence is key! No, seriously, it boosts your abilities."
MK pursed his lips, glancing at the van. He exhaled, puffing out his chest as he held his hands up. His arms trembled as he tried to scrounge up enough magic to do what he needed. Wukong cheered, clasping his hands together in excitement. MK, despite his strain, smiled and continued to push.
The van suddenly expanded vertically in size, and MK stumbled, "I-I made it bigger!" Wukong laughed, keeping his distance, "That's the foundation! Now you need to give it a whole new shape!" MK wilted, "I don't...think I can." The monkey scoffed, "Don't talk down about my best bud! He's perfectly capable of controlling his powers!"
A smile shone through, and MK hummed, determined as he held his hands out again.

Wukong had no idea how to drive a spaceship. MK wanted to drive it, arguing that he created it and therefore should be flown by him. But the king casually asked if he even knew how to fly a ship. Granted, Wukong didn't either, but it'd be fine.
Pigsy begged to differ, he strapped on at least three seat belts.
"Oh, what's this button do?" He pressed it, and MK yelled in alarm, "YOU DON'T KNOW?!" Pigsy screamed, mixing with the king's squeals of delight as they blasted into the sky. The moon soon came into view, and the monkey barely pulled on the steering handles, narrowly avoiding a harsh crash landing.
The doors opened, revealing beautiful gardens with towering plants and structures. Wukong gave a low whistle, stumbling forward, "Looks like Chang'e got busy up here!" MK gave his mentor a look, "Don't you need a spacesuit?" Pigsy cranked his neck, shooting the monkey an intense stare.
Wukong snorted, looking away bashfully, "I don't need to breathe, bud. Though... I'm technically breathing right now, so maybe it is safe to walk around without a suit." MK hummed, abruptly taking off his helmet. Pigsy sputtered in alarm, but luckily the brunette simply grinned, "Hey, you're right!"
The chef sighed, done with the pair, "So where's the ring?" Wukong made a face for a split second, before grinning softly, "Uhh, somewhere? We probably need Chang'e's help getting it." MK groaned, rubbing his face, "Well, how do we find--"
"GET DOWN!"
The king pulled his companions down as a beam of blazing light shot overhead, missing them by a few seconds. MK yelped, trying to see who was shooting at them and ignoring the throb from the harsh grab. A sweet, electronic voice called out, and the boy gawked as he eyed the bunny bot.
Pigsy swallowed thickly, tucking himself and MK behind a rock, "Wukong, do something!" The king whined, staring longingly at the machine, "But it's just-- too cute--" MK pushed down his fear, leaping away from his cover. Ignoring his companion's cries, he held out his hands and concentrated.
