TW: major characters death, blood and implied cheating
I am so sorry about this
Major characters: Gabriella, EliasGabriella POV:
The auburn leaves in her golden hair glowed like a raging fire like the fire glowing in her eyes. I knew I messed up when she didn't say anything to me and just kept walking. I tried to talk to her but she ignored me.
"Please. Can we just talk?" I said, trying to get her attention.
"About what? About lying to me. About going behind my back, again. After you promised you wouldn't. What could we possibly have to talk about?"
I flinch back and stop walking, "I...we don't have to"
She sighed and stopped walking, looked at me, "how can I trust you anymore? You've done this so many times I've lost it. I think it's time we take a break. For good"
"Wait, no please. I can do better. I will please don't do this" I hold back tears as I look at her.
"No, I told you this would happen. You've gone to him again and again and again and I'm done. You're not over him and I can't be with you if you're just going to throw your life away"
"No! It's not like that, please. I can explain"
"You say that and never do. We are over. Good bye" she turns and walks away.
I fall to the ground and cry. I watch her walk away, those leaves making it look like her hair is on fire. I tried, I did and it ended just like it always did. No one loved me. No one understood. I should just leave this world. No one needed me anymore.Elias POV:
The bloody scene was buried under layers of fallen leaves. If he hadn't been paying attention, he would've missed it. He leaned down and noticed the blood smeared like the body had been dragged away, by someone or maybe the person themselves trying to escape. He carefully followed the path of blood into the woods.
He reached a clearing and found the body. A young woman with golden hair that seemed to glow like fire with the auburn leaves around it. He rushed over and checked the pulse, knowing it was already too late.
He called his partner, an officer at the local police station, and asked them to come. A little while later they showed up and surveyed the scene. The two decided it was best not to say anything to anyone as this was the governor's daughter and they could be blamed. Before they left, he found another trail of blood. He took a picture of the place where it started, promising to himself he'd come back and examine it tomorrow.
Just like he said he came back and followed the second blood trail. It led him deep into the woods, finally ending at a cave. Just inside he found another body. This one of a young woman with dark brown hair. He noticed both bodies seemed to be in the exact same state, whatever killed them did it the same way. He went to leave when he heard a sound behind him, before he turned around everything went dark.
