This one is about a character named Logan. If you've seen other books I've done, I do like sander sides and the name was based off of one of those characters.
TW: mentions of death, seeing ghosts, mention of a possible murderLogan was born different from their other siblings. They were quiet and didn't look like anyone else in the family. The doctors thought they were dead at first glance until he saw them move. It became more apparent how different they were when their hair started growing and it was white, along with having completely black eyes. As the got older they were told they had an active imagination as they were always talking about seeing people. One time they were playing with their siblings in the backyard and a few animals came alive and played with them. When their mother came out all the animals went away and their mom thought all of them were just playing when they told her about the animals. When they were 8 they started refusing to go to certain places because they were scared of seeing the people. It only got worse when their dad died, they kept seeing him wherever they went, which was making it harder for everyone to greave as they kept talking like he was there. At the age of 10 they started going to therapy after telling their mother they saw their neighbor, Mrs. Norris, with a knife in her side. When their mother remarried, they stayed in their room unless their stepfather wasn't home because they kept seeing people following him. Soon after their mother remarried they found a raven that looked dead until Logan touched them. They instantly jumped up. Logan left, thinking it would fly away since they seemed ok, but soon realized they followed them. Without their mother's knowledge they kept the raven which they named Marripen. Finally, their mother believed that they were seeing things when the family dog who had passed away recently walk up to Logan. Soon after that they were enrolled at the school.
