It's short, but it's very important, so pay attention.

Shay ~

"Shay, do you have any idea what this means?"

"It means my life is over!"

"You should be so excited." Alix sat on her counter top with her legs crossed.

"I mean...I'd been thinking about considering it, but it didn't mean for it to happen so fast."

"You're not considering abortion are you?"

"Of course not, are you insane? Kyle would end me."

"When are you gonna tell him?"

"I'm having a hard enough time believing it myself. I don't know. Not any time soon though."

"And why not?

"I don't know. I know he'll be happy. I just don't think it's the right time. What time is it?"

"The sun hasn't come up."

"Great. I'm gonna put some coffee on."

"Not if you plan on drinking it."

"...Why else would I make coffee, Alix?"

"For me evidently, because you can't drink it."

"Why the hell not?"

"It's not good for the baby." She shrugged. "But yeah, make me some coffee! French vanilla would be lovely."

"You mean I can't have coffee for nine months?"

"Like I said, it's not good for the baby."

"Hell no. This shit isn't gonna work."

She laughed and slid off the counter. "You'll be fine. You spending the rest of the night?"

"Nah. I'll go back home. I just...I can't even fathom what's happening right now. What's gonna happen to my boobs and hips?"

"They'll swell and widen."

"I can't do this. I don't want this. This shouldn't be happening. If I agreed with myself on getting a dog, I bet this wouldn't be happening."

"You're overreacting. It's late. Go home, get some sleep. We'll talk about it in the morning."

"But I don't wanna-"

"You're sleepy, you're cranky, you're delusional. Go home and get some rest. No coffee."

"But-"

"Shay!"

"Fine, I'm leaving. I'll talk to you tomorrow."

I walked down the long drive way and just sat in my car for awhile. What is going on?!

Antonio~

"When I first saw you, I told myself I'd never let you go."

"Aren't you married?"

"I'm separated, I-"

"Boy, please."

Sugar walked away from me.

Trey walked up to me and shouted over he loud music. "You just got turned down by a stripper."

"Man, whatever. I ain't want her ugly ass anyway."

He laughed. "Riiiight."

"I'm ready to go. Where's Chris?"

"In the back, I think. Dude's got more game than you."

"Yeah whatever. I'm ready to go. Go get him!"

"Shorties head game was meannnnnn,"

Trey laugh. "Tone is salty 'cause he didn't get any."

"Man, whatever! I could pull all of those girls if I wanted too."

"You think so?"

"I know so!"

"No you couldn't," Chris said, half faded. "You've been married too long. You lost your touch. You wouldn't even know what to do if a girl tried to approach you."

"That's not true. How do you think I pulled Sugar?"

"You didn't pull Sugar. You got swerved by Sugar."

"You're just hating."

"For what? I got some!"

Trey just laughed with low red low eyes. "I'm hungry."

"Taco bell?"

"I'm just gonna crash at your house Trey, alright?"

"That's cool."

"Have you talked to Alix, Tone?"

"Nope."

Good!" Chris yelled. "You don't need her."

Trey just shook his head and continued to drive."

"As a matter of fact, you don't need her so much, that we're going out every night this week!"

"My body can't handle alcohol intake like it used too. Sorry dude."

"Man, you're laaaame. You need to put yourself back on the market."

"I'm not on the market. I'm done with the whole relationship thing."

"You can't let this break you. Get them hoes!"

"He doesn't need a hoe, you idiot."

"Look where listening to the wise one over here got you."

"Aye," Trey pulled into his lot. "Listening to me made things better. You didn't listen to me enough. That's why you're in the mess you're in. If you would've listened more, things might be a little better."

"How so?"

"Because apparently, I'm the only one that can think in here."

"Yeah, whatever. There's nothing that I can do about it now."
