Kari felt like a brand new person as she happily made it to school and entered the campus, happily greeting everyone and everyone she doesn't know.

'Yami and I had something special, I just know it. All I got to do is talk to him and then maybe we can work something out without Tea knowing'

She thought as she walked down the hallway to her classroom and immediately stopped and gasped in shock. In front of her stood, Tea and Yami but not only that, they were making out on top of the desk, her desk. Tea and Yami soon pulled apart as they heard the gasp. Tea smiled as she made her way to Kari.

"Can you believe it? Yami asked me to be his girlfriend"

She said with a blush. Kari shook off the shock before smiling at her best friend.

"No, I can't believe it"

She said almost quietly as she looked at Yami who walked up to them and placed his arm around Tea's shoulders.

"Well you should, after all this was your idea, Kari"

He said smoothly.

"My idea?"

She asked quietly before shaking her head once more and put on a fake smile.

"Right, my idea. Would you guys excuse me, I was in the rush to school and I forgot to use the bathroom"

She said excusing herself. Kari soon turned the corner as she leaned against the cold walls before letting her tears fall.

Kari slowly made her way to the bathroom as she looked to her reflection before sadly looking away leaning against the faucet.

"Me and my big mouth"

She cried before letting out a sob.

"I never meant for this to happen but now that we did, I'm confused, so confused"

She said to herself as she cleaned herself up before smiling at her reflection like she never been hurt before making her way back to the hallway.

But everybody else could tell

Kari smiled as she entered the classroom where Tea and Yami were snuggling together causing Kari's heart to clench but remained smiling.

"So how did this happen?"

Kari asked curiously to the couple.

"Well Yami and I were hanging out and that's when he asked me to be his girl"

"Well isn't that sweet, just a day after the ball, correct?"

I swore I knew the melody

"What ball?"

Tea asked causing Yami to look to Kari curiously as to what she is planning.

"Yeah, it was being held by Kaiba at his hotel. The Dueling Tournament Ball"

"I wasn't aware of this"

Tea said in confusion as she looked to Yami.

"Why didn't you take me? And why didn't you tell me?"

She asked to turn back to Kari.

But then you went and changed the words

"Well, Yami had tooken me as an apology for being a bad friend and now everything is great. Right Yami?"

She asked to her ex-crush. Yami remained looking at Kari before smiling.

"Everything is fine, besides the ball didn't mean anything, it was just a way to pick up Kaiba's ego"

He said causing Kari to smirk.

"But still you could have told me"

Tea said still complaining that she didn't get a chance to go.

"It was a last minute thing, besides the ball was lame, I should have stood home"

Kari said looking at Yami who looked at her in shock.

"But on the plus side, I'm glad Yami took my advice"

'Cause now even I can tell
That I confused my feelings with the truth

"The both of you, definitely make the cutest couple"

She said with a giggle to Tea who happily smiled at her.

'Something isn't right'

Yami thought as he simply watched Tea and Kari laugh and talk.

'She's hurting, she's hurting bad'

Yugi said through the mind link.

'There's nothing I can do'

Yami thought.

"Yami"

Tea said getting his attention.

I can't believe that I could be so blind

"I think you should let Yugi come out, the teacher is almost here. You can come back out at lunch time"

She said not giving Yugi a say of when he can or can't come out.

'I'm sorry Yugi'

Yami said through the mindlink.

'Its okay, I should start getting used to it, right?'

Yugi responded back. Soon Yami and Yugi traded places just when the teacher entered the classroom.

Yugi saw how sad Kari was and decided to pass her a note.

'I'm here if you need to talk to someone's

Kari looked at the note briefly before putting it away, not wanting to respond to Yugi. Yugi let out a sad sigh. Kari soon raised her hand as the teacher called on her.

"May I change my seat?"

She asked.

"Is that going to help you to learn from now on?"

The teacher asked Kari simply nodded. The teacher granted her the permission before starting the lesson.

'Yup, she's definitely angry'

He thought of defeat at the thought of losing a friend.
