"Uh uh, no way"

Kari said with a glare.

"What?"

Yami asked confused as he put on his shoes by the door

"Are you even glue to that thing or what?"

Kari asked with a pout putting both her hands on each side of her hip as she tap one foot impatiently.

"I mean like drag yourself out of the Duel Monster Tournaments, this isn't battle city all over again"

"Kari has a point"

Tea said. Kari nodded.

"So no dueling, come on, we never actually get to do teenage stuff besides school stuff"

Kari said annoyed.

"And this teenage stuff includes?"

Yami asked curiously as he closed the door behind him as he took a step closer to Kari who simply brushed him with her shoulder as she answered him.

"Um fun"

Kari answered like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Dueling is fun"

Yami defended.

"Ha not when you get your soul taken away"

Kari said with a hard laugh moving away from him. Yami looked at her with a plain stare.

"You're never gonna let me live it down, are you?"

He asked. Kari playfully smirk at him.

"Maybe"

"Come on you guys, enough with the flirting already. Joey and Tristan are probably already waiting for us at Kaibaland"

Tea said. Kari slightly looked at her best friend with a slight glare with a huff as she crossed her arms over her chest. After Yami and Yugi saved their friends, Yami, Tea and Kari never got a chance to talk about what happened and how to move forward but so far, Kari pretends as if nothing bad happened in the first place. The friends soon met up with Joey and Tristan.

"So what should we do first? Mokuba gave us the free wristband pass to every ride"

Joey said.

"Sweet!"

Tristan shouted.

"Awesome!"

Kari yelled happily.

"Let's ride the Ferris Wheel"

Tea suggested as she began to partner up with Yami and Joey but Yami shook his head as he walked a bit closer to Kari, signaling that he wanted to be alone with her. Tea got the message as they waited in line. Tristan, Joey and Tea got in first leaving Yami and Kari to go on to the next one.

"Kari, can we talk?"

Yami asked quietly to Kari who simply looked at him briefly before looking straight ahead.

"We're on next"

She said excitedly as the staff member opened the gate for Kari and Yami allowing them inside the ferris wheel. Kari and Yami sat across from each other. Kari was enjoying the view trying her best to ignore the feeling of being watched as Yami was simply watching her.

"Kari, can we talk now?"

He asked his previous question. Kari bit the inside of her cheek as she looked at him before looking away.

"Talk about what?"

"Us?"

"Okay....what about us?"

She asked. Yami took in a deep breath as he grabbed her hand in his causing Kari to lightly blush as she looked back at him.

"I meant what I said on that day"

He said quietly. Kari looked to their hands before looking at him.

"I don't recall..."

She began to say but Yami cut her off.

"I want to start over with you"

"I don't know"

She finally said after a moment of silence.

"Why do you have to think about it now? You wouldn't hesitate before, why are you acting like this"

He said. Kari sadly pulled her hands away.

"You don't understand, I don't think you will ever understand"

She said before clearing her throat with a smile as she let out a nervous laugh

"Boy! This ride is taking forever. Hello down there!"

Kari happily yelled down the ride.

"What don't I understand?"

Yami asked for Kari's attention.

"Because I don't think Tea will..."

"Not this again"

Yami said annoyed hearing Tea's name being brought up again.

"Well I'm sorry okay, maybe this is why friends shouldn't date friends"

"Why did you change your mind about us?"

He asked. Kari simply shrugged.

"You know what, no more games"

He finally said after a moment of silence. Kari slightly frowned and was about to question before the ride stopped, letting the couples out. Yami grabbed Kari's hand in his as he pulled her along to where the others were waiting.

"Tea"

Yami said sternly getting her attention. Tea looked at Yami and Kari.

"Yeah?"

She asked.

"Kari and I are dating, do you have a problem with that?"

He simply asked with a blushing Kari right behind him. Tea was quiet as she simply looked to her best friend and her ex-crush before smiling.

"Of course not"

"Really?"

Kari asked in surprise to her best friend who is like a sister to her.

"Really, I just want to see you happy"

Tea said as she remembered the day Kari's soul was taken away and the reasoning about the whole ordeal. Kari walked up to Tea before happily embracing her into a tight hug.

"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Kari happily cried. Joey slightly frowned as he nudged Tristan.

"Why did Kari need to ask for Tea's permission to date the other Yugi?"

He asked. Tristan shrugged.

"Beats me, maybe it's a girl's code"

"Alright then, it's settled Kari and I are officially dating from now on, so for the rest of the evening Kari and I will be going our own way for our date."

Yami said as he soon changed places with Yugi.

"Until then, we get to have fun!"

Yugi happily shouted. Tristan and Joey happily cheered as Kari and Tea simply giggled as they walked alongside with the guys. Enjoying what else the day had to offer.
