A couple minutes passed of me leaning on the pink wall before somebody finally appeared in the spacious room.

"Mademoiselle Claudette, M. Ackerman va vous voir maintenant." A butler dressed in a black suit said nonchalantly. A woman in her, I assume, late twenties stood and nodded shortly to the butler. Seeing that the woman was who he was looking for, he swiftly turned and walked quickly down the hall with her following close behind.

Seeing that nothing else was worth holding their attention, the rest of the possible job holders directed their attention back to their activities. Well, except for one girl in her either late teens or very early twenties. She was previously fiddling with her phone, but seeing as she looked bored, she started looking around and trying to find something that, I assume, would be entertaining. And when she found it she got up and made her way towards.....me?

"Bonjour monsieur, savez-vous à peu près combien de temps cela va prendre?" The young girl asked. Not knowing what the hell she meant except the "Bonjour monsieur" part, I stuttered before finally responding.

"Uh, yes, hello. I'm sorry, I don't speak Fre-" I stuttered out before getting cut-off.

"Oh Qui, sorry, hmm how long.. do you... think it will... take?" The girl spoke quietly and unsure with a very thick accent. Why does everybody here like cutting me off? Am I that boring to listen to?

"I honestly do not know, hopefully not long though." I said with a smile while she nodded and shifted to where she stood next to me and copied my position.

"Qui qui, okay, where are you... from?" The girl asked, still unsure. But even if it was a bit hard to understand her, I was happy someone was talking to me.

"America, Florida specifically." I asked with a small, reassuring smile hopefully telling her that she's doing well.

"Ah, American?" She asked a bit more confidently.

"Yep" I stated with a grin. She nodded and tried to say something else, but couldn't quite form what she was trying to say. So, seeing that she was struggling, I held my pointer finger up showing her to wait a second.

Pulling out my phone, I went to google and typed "English to French translator", automatically the google translator popped up. Quickly typing in what I wanted translated, I showed her the screen.

'If it's easier, we can communicate through translator, if I hit the speaker icon you can speak French and I can type English so it can translate back to French for you.' Was what I translated to French. After reading the message, she quickly nodded her head and smiled. Seeing this, I erased my previous message and switched the translation to "French to English" while also hitting the speaker icon. Once I nodded to her, she began speaking.

"Quel est votre nom?" Translated to 'What is your name?'. Smiling, I switch the translation and type in 'Eren, what about you?'

Seeing the translation she smiled back "Fleur is mon name". Keeping the translation as it is, I type my next response.

'Fleur is a very nice name, do you live here in Paris?' Once Fleur read the French translation she blushed. Holding the phone out to her, she switched the translation reading and hit the speaker.

"Merci, Eren. Oui, j'habite ici à Paris. Et Eren? Comment es-tu si grand? Je me sens comme un tout petit enfant à côté de toi." Translated to 'Thank you, Eren. Yes, I do live here in Paris. And Eren? How are you so tall? I feel like a tiny child next to you." Seeing my cheeks flushed with embarrassment, she giggled.

'Genetics? Or maybe I just drank a lot of milk when I was younger." I typed while grinning, thinking I'm so clever. Reading the translation, she laughed and switched the translation while hitting the speaker.
