Damsels in Divorce (Part Three): Duncan POV

"The jury has come to a conduct. José Burromeurto is charged with abuse to Courtney Jade Barlow causing broken bones and permanent damage to the body for a sentence in prison for two years" the judge said slamming her hammer down on the palet. I smiled as guards took handcuffed José out of the room. Sick bastard. I got up and started pushing Courtney out of the courtroom along with Geoff, Bridgette, and Tyler. She was in a wheelchair with 3 broken ribs and a ripped tibula. it would take up to 6 months to recover, and she had moved out of José's house and gotten a divorce. she was now living with Geoff and Bridgette. I was living with Geoff and Bridgette too because Trey kept smoking and trying to take me to strip clubs and get wasted and it got too much for me. I want to settle down and stop with all the smoking and sex with strangers. Tyler lives by himself but comes over all the time. Geoff and Bridgette don't mind though, after Geoff's parents died, they got their 16 bedroom house. yeah, the one we had all those wild high school parties in. back in those days.

"knock knock" I said as I leaned against Courtney's open bedroom door. she turned around and giggled. "hey Duncan" she said trying to sit up on her bed. she was laying down with her wheelchair next to her and a huge cast around her stomach. not to mention the cast around her leg. I rushed over to her side and sat her up. "thanks" she sighed holding her stomach. she had her black hair up in a messy bun and she wore black yoga pants paired with a tight little tank top and no make up on her face. she was so beautiful, but I know I'm not in love. it cAnt ever happen again.

What happened to Heather? oh yeah. after the whole Jose storming out business on the beach, Alejandro went with me to find heather. we found her walking out of the local strip club, "Sø Naughty" and picked her up. Alejandro and her yelled and yelled that night and got in a divorce. turns out, that heather used to do hardcore drugs. expensive drugs. and she had to pay back the guy that sold them to her all those years. she got money from stripping at the club and having sex with him. she had plenty of money, but she couldn't keep it from Alejandro. so she went and made her own money since no professional businesses wanted her horrible attitude in their shelters. and that's what happened with that.
