"I'm bridgette" I said happily as I stuck out my hand to Trent.
he shook my hand and gave me a sly smile.
"so, do you play?" Courtney asked as she pointed to the guitar hanging on his back
"oh yeah. I like to play indie chill and most of my songs are about romance and heartbreak" he said scratching the back of his neck
"how handsome" Courtney said, fluttering her eyelashes
I smirked to myself. what a flirt.
"are you single?" I asked spontaneously
"yes I am" he said giving a smile
"so is Courtney here, eh" I said elbowing Courtney
"stop it!" Courtney giggled with pink cheeks
Trent then started writing something on a little slip of paper and handed it to Courtney
"call or text me when you're not busy" Trent said winking at Courtney.
"wait, you'd actually go on a date with me?" Courtney asked raising a curious eyebrow
"of course. you seem interesting and you're very pretty" he said ruffling his hair
"Awwww" I said as I pushed them together
They nervously laughed and I got the signal that I should stop.
I let them go and they continued with their fake laughing
"I have to go, lunch break is over in 5" Trent said sighing and swinging his guitar back over
"I'll text you later" Courtney said smirking
"you better" Trent said smiling as he left the shop
I made sure the coast was clear before I fangirled
"EEEEEK!" I said linking in Courtney's hands and mini jumping
"he's so cute!" Courtney said with dreamy eyes
"see? something better always comes along" I said, gesturing to Duncan
"yeah" she said as she bit her lip and gave a shy smile

"where were you dudettes?" Geoff asked as he kept his eyes glued on the video game
grand theft auto 5. typical.
"the mall" I said as I helped Courtney on the couch
"GEOFF! LOOK TO YOUR RIGHT!" Duncan yelled as they played the game
"OH SHIT!!" Geoff yelled as they went on with their "guy stuff"
I rolled my eyes and turned to Courtney
"wanna go to your room?" I asked with a raised eyebrow
"you read my mind" she said as she rolled her eyes at the dumb minded males

I was painting Courtney's toes a light purple when her phone lit up
I squinted at the screen and it read "Trent"
"PICK IT UP!" I squealed pointing at the phone
she gasped and grabbed it, pressing the green tab
COURTNEY TO TRENT CALL:

•Courtney, can I take you for dinner tomorrow?
•depends, are you paying? *giggles*
•I think that's what "taking out to dinner" means *laughs*

"so what'd he say?!" I asked, more like demanded
"that he's taking me to dinner tomorrow at Italia Romana" she said squealing
️and we squealed like Katie and Sadie for the rest of the night, all while watching chick flicks and painting nails

I snuck up to mine and Geoff's room when Courtney fell asleep around 11
I crept to the bed and laid down beside Geoff, assuming he was asleep
"hey baby" he whispered as he turned to wrap his arms around me
"I thought you were sleeping babe" I said giggling
"oh, nah" he laughed
"Duncan and sky are getting pretty serious" Geoff said sighing
"yeah well Courtney found somebody new" I said happily
"there goes Duncney" Geoff sighed once again
I then turned around and frowned
"you really thought that they would be together again?" I asked raising an eyebrow
"I don't know" he sighed once more "he's taking sky to dinner tomorrow"
I silently gasped
"where?"
"I don't know"
I bit my lip and tried falling asleep

or Courtney is gonna be in some deep shit.
