"Ji-Ah!"

Someone lifted the "boy" off Ji-Ah and helped her to her feet. Before she could say thank you, she was dragged away from the front of the school.

"Su-Hyeok! Where are we going?" Ji-Ah asked, trying to keep up with the boys' far strides.

"Hold on Ji-Ah. Don't fucking let go of me!" Su-Hyeok yelled at the girl as they dogged more students. As he grew more stressed, his grip got tighter and tighter around Ji-Ah's wrist. She was terrified. But at least she had Su-Hyeok.

"Stay away! Stay away, son of a bitch!" the school's gardener yelled from a ladder as he hit the creatures with the gardening scissors in his hand. Losing his balance, the gardener fell from the ladder he was on.

Ji-Ah froze in fear as the gardener was eaten alive. But Su-Hyeok didn't stick around for long. Quickly, he grabbed the ladder and climbed up, slamming into the window.

"Su-Hyeok, please don't leave me!" the girl shouts in desperation.

But it was too late. Su-Hyeok had slid into the classroom, leaving Ji-Ah scared and alone.

"Come up here!!"

"Climb up!!"

"Hurry!!"

Ji-Ah's classmate peered their heads from the window, looking down and shouting at her. Ji-Ah felt dizzy. Everything her classmates were saying sounded like gibberish.

Pulling her back to reality, Su-Hyeok yelled, "Ji-Ah!! Please!"

Ji-Ah ran towards the ladder and climbed. Halfway there, she felt a creature shake the ladder. She kept climbing, but it started to climb up the ladder, too. Ji-Ah was inches close to safety.

"Ji-Ah, jump!"

As soon as she jumped into Dae-Su's arms, the ladder fell. She scraped her knees on the cement, leaving a painful sting. Shaking, Ji-Ah slid down the inside of the window, trying to catch her breath. Su-Hyeok kneeled next to her, and without hesitation, she jumped into his arms. She buried her face in the crock of his neck, hoping this was all a bad dream. The tall boy cradled the small girl in his arms, holding on to her like she was his lifeline.

"It's ok, you're safe, I'm here," he said, creasing her hair.

"Please don't leave me," she begs him.

"I'm not going anywhere."

Noticing the scene, jealous eyes "burned holes" into Ji-Ah's head. Nam On-Jo stared at her crush hug and comfort another girl in his arms. Jealously was all she felt. All she wanted was to throw Ji-Ah back down with the zombies.

Ji-Ah slowly let go of Su-Hyeok and looked around the classroom. Her classmates were all scattered around.

"Are those zombies?" Ji-Ah whispered.

"I guess they are," Cheong-San tells her.

"Why are these zombies so fucking fast? Aren't they supposed to be like the ones in The Walking Dead?" Dae-Su complains.

"This is The Walking Dead, dumbass," Woo-Jin says, hitting his friend.

BANG!

A zombie bashed its head on the window, making it drip with crimson blood. Joon-Yeong, holding the door, was scared shitless. More zombies kept coming and slamming on the door.
