"C-coming," I stood up as I heard someone knocking on my door.
The only person I'm expecting is Christie and her brother, but they're not supposed to be here until a bit later. So I wonder who it could be.
I finally reached the front door and to my surprise, it was Christie.
"Julie, I've missed you!" she exclaimed and hugged me.
"W-what do you mean? We saw each other yesterday?" I furrowed my eyebrows.
"I know that. But you know, my brother's being his annoying self," she rolled her eyes.
We continued to talk for a bit until I decided that I should probably start getting ready.
"Why did you come so early?" I asked her as I put on some mascara.
"Like I said: my brother is annoying," she said as she continued to rummage through my closet.
After I told her I should be getting ready she begged me if she could choose my outfit for today. I was reluctant because we both have very different clothing styles but she's my best friend and she promised that I could dress her next time I'm at her house.
"Are you ready now?" she asked, peeking her head through my bathroom door "Oh my gosh! You look beautiful!"
"Really? I don't know," I furrowed my eyebrows and continued to stare at the mirror.
"Yes now come. We're going to be late," she tried to drag me out of the bathroom.
I quickly got my phone and my keys, locked the front door behind me and before I knew it I was already outside waiting for Chris.

Julie and I finally arrived outside waiting for my brother to come pick us up.
Julie was on her phone probably letting her neighbour know she was on her way to the vet. Her neighbour is this really nice guy, Matt. At first glance, he is kind of terrifying but once you get to know him, he's really nice.
And here I am trying to catch my breath. Her apartment building should really get its elevator fixed.
Chris finally arrived climbing out of his car with a coffee cup and chocolate muffin.
