Later that night, Lip was listening to Bob and Monica's little argument about the family, how Monica wants to stay, but Bob cannot support little kids.
"Did you see those kids' faces? Did you see the way they looked at me?" asks Monica
"I'm not supporting 6 kids. We get the DNA results tomorrow. It'll prove that Liam's not Frank's," says Bob, Monica shushes her.
"That way if the shithead changes his mind, he can never try and take Liam back," says Bob
"Keep quiet. They're sleeping," says Monica
"We are gonna make a great family, baby. I'm gonna take care of you and Liam like Frank never could," says Bob, hugging and kissing her girlfriend, and with that, their voices slowly fade away as they move further apart.
Ian and Lip sit up, causing me to do it as well, "I hate them." I give a little tired fake smile.
"So do we," says Ian, as Lip lights himself a cigarette. Later on, we both just go to bed after saying our good nights.

The next morning...
"Monica, Carl needs something from you," says Lip referring to a permission slip that she needs to sign and I guess also pay for.
"Ah, you're going to the aquarium, when?" asks Monica
"Today. I need $10," says Carl
"What for?" asks Bob
"Admission fee," says Carl
"School doesn't pay for that?" asks Bob
"No. And he'll need money for food," says Lip
"Grab him an instant oatmeal and a Pop-Tart. Makes a great lunch," says Bob
"Deb, what are you doing?" asks Monica
"I'm looking for a poster board and markers. I'm running for re-election," says Debs, referring to her currently being the class president.
"Ian, could you and your girlfriend help her?" asks Monica, Ian and I get up and help Debbie with her supplies.
"Not his girlfriend. You'd know if you were here," says Lip, oop burn-
Monica ignores that but has a sad expression on her face, "If you would tell me these things before it'd be better in the morning."
"I need 40 bucks," says Lip
"No," says Bob, making me glare at her.
"Bob, do you have 5?" asks Monica
"In my wallet, where it's gonna stay," says Bob
"Look, I need a new calculus textbook. I can get it used, only costs 20," says Lip
I'd offer to give him some cash if he'd pay me back. But I know that he's asking Monica for the money to see if she'd be able to survive as a parent.
"Where are our lunches?" asks Ian as they're getting ready for school.
"Huh?" asks Monica
"Lunches? For school?" I explain with more detail as they all look at Monica.
"What is everybody looking at? Start spreading peanut butter on bread," says Bob
"Right," says Monica, doing what Bob said, "So... Okay, where's the jelly?"
Well, she figures that out and makes our lunches, "Okay, um..." she puts an Oreo in every bag for dessert I guess, "Okay," she says before handing everyone their lunch bags.
