People began to take notice of Mary and Giselle talking. Reporters and people around them have began to slowly start circling them. Giselle looks around, and spots Randy, who appears behind Mary, with his camera. Giselle gives him the nod, and he throws the camera up, hitting the lights. Mary spins around, completely surprised to see him. "Randy.. what are you doing here." Randy simply glares at her, but before they can continue talking, Mary sees someone else standing off to the side.
The man looks at her, his face sullen, broken. Mary's breath hitches into her throat. "Cotton...." Mary has a look on her face that Giselle couldn't read. Billy & Stu were no where around, to stop the man, who was heading towards her. "Hello, Mary." Giselle motions to Randy. He maneuvers, getting Mary and Cotton in the frame, while Mary glares at the boy who was once her friend.
Mary just stares at Cotton, taken completely off guard. She looks to Randy again, who aims the camera directly at her.. filming her. "What are you doing?" Mary turns back to Giselle, glaring through her, realizing she's been set up. She looks back at Cotton, not knowing what to say. She had helped set him up, and they wanted her to make a statement on Sidney's false accusing towards the man. Mary looks back over at Giselle, a fire burning in her eyes. "You Bitch."
Mary storms off, disappearing in the crowd. Cotton turned to Giselle, his face pained. "This was a mistake, I shouldn't be here." He takes off, pushing through the crowd as Randy stops filming. "Can you say backfire." Giselle looked over at the boy, with determination. "Did you get it." Randy nodded at her, while Giselle looked over where the two people disappeared, with a smirk on her lips.
Randy was clearly not happy about his part in Giselle's plans, it was clear in his voice. Giselle looked over at the boy, seeing the look on his face. "You need to check your conscience at the door. We're not here to be loved." Randy's face reveals otherwise, part of him wanting to make up with Mary, but not wanting to get involved with Stu and Billy again.
Meanwhile, at the sorority house, CiCi lies on the couch, watching television. She channel surfs while on the phone with her friend. "No, they broke up again. Bailey won't stop drinking and Sarah can't take it anymore." The girl on the other end replies, when a beep passes through, another call trying to come in. "Hold up.. someone's calling." She clicks over, and a man's voice comes through. "Hello." The man on the other end of the phone's voice was deep, alluring but also creepy at the same time. "Yes?" "Who is this?" CiCi replies her name, then assuming it was her boyfriend again. She clicks back over to the girl she was talking to in the first place, telling her she had to go before hanging up and clicking back over.
"Okay Ted.. you sound loaded, what's up?" The man on the phone breathes, before responding to the girl. "Who's Ted?" CiCi pauses, realizing that Ted is not the man on the phone, because he isn't clever enough, and she didn't realize the voice. "Oh I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else. Who are you calling for?" The man on the phone answered "What if I said you?" CiCi rolled her eyes "What if I said goodbye? Why do answer a question with a question anyways?" "I'm inquisitive" CiCi grabbed the phone, walking and talking at the same time, beginning to get annoyed. "Well, I'm impatient. Look, do you wanna leave a message for someone?"
Silence filled the line with no response. "Do you wanna die tonight, CiCi?" The man replied, directly and almost a whisper. His voice pierces through her, as her eyes widen in shock. "Just a sec.." CiCi puts the man on hold and moves to the foyer of the dorm room, checking to make sure that the front door was locked. CiCi hears a thud, and spins around looking at the staircase. "Shit.." She hears the noise again, clearly there being moving from upstairs, sounding almost like footsteps. CiCi looks up the staircase again, hearing the floorboards creek, causing her to freak out. "I'm outta here."
She flies out the door, unlocking it and throwing it open, moving out to the front porch. She stands on the porch steps, looking back, through the door and into the phone when the phone starts to crackle. Her friend is back on the phone, calling to her telling her that the phone was breaking up. CiCi looks up and down the street, seeing a young guy walk up the sidewalk. "Hey, you? Hello!" The guy ignores her, clearly not even hearing her as he has headphones on, bobbing to the music.
CiCi moves further down the porch steps, the phone beginning to crack severely. CiCi gives up, hanging up the phone, hearing nothing but static and no dial tone. She looks back at the front door, debating going back in, and moves back up the porch steps. She tries the phone again to call campus police, but it still won't connect. Eventually she manages to call Campus Security, but it's no use.. they can't hear her. CiCi eyes the open front door, inching back to it. "Can you hear me now?" The line goes dead.
CiCi peers through the front door, into the house and it's completely empty. CiCi steps back inside the house, the reception on the phone becoming clearer, but no one is on the line. Suddenly a figure appears behind her, grabbing her. CiCi screams bloody murder, but it's just her roommate asking if the phone rang. CiCi refuses the answer the phone, making her roommate answer for her, just a girl asking for a taxi. "I'll go. I don't mind. Really." The roommate shakes her head, causing CiCi to sit back down. "Take the next one. You should set the alarm. A killer's on the loose."
Both of the girls are distracted, neither seeing the figure walking right through the front door. Dawnie, the roommate, turns away just as the figure enters into the dark dining room. Dawnie starts back for the front door, when the phone rings again. Dawnie answers it, when the same voice begins "Is CiCi there?" "Who's calling?" "Ted?" Dawnie throws the phone over to CiCi and races out the door, slamming the door shut behind her. CiCi puts the phone up to her ear, expecting Ted to be on the phone. "Hello? Ted?" Silence on the phone, before the voice responds again. "No, It's Me." CiCi nearly collapses, losing her stomach almost.
"Don't forget to set the alarm." CiCi hangs up, throwing the phone across the room. She moves back to the foyer where an alarm panel is positioned on the wall. She activates the alarm and moves into the dark dining room. She finds the light switch, turning the light on, illuminating the light. The room is empty, the figure no longer in the room. She moves into the kitchen, same thing.
She moves to a sliding glass door, making sure it is locked as well, then the phone rings. She turns for the phone, answering it when two hands lunge out of the darkness. One finds her neck, while the other grabs her by the hair, pulling her head backwards and spinning her around, shoving her and pushing her into the glass door. Glass goes everywhere, shattering as CiCi's body goes right through it, her body landing on the porch, completely still.
