Suddenly, when Mary is least expecting it, Hallie comes to life behind Mary, reaching out and grabbing her. Mary jumps in shock, spinning around to find Hallie breaking out in a torrent of giggles, very much alive. "Pain.. such pain. Story of your life, Mary."
Mary stares in mortal shock and confusion as Hallie cuts herself down from the wall with a big hunting knife. "Need some help, Honey?" Hallie waves Mickey off, to say she can handle herself. Mary's eyes go back and forth between the two of them. "You should really see your face right now, Mary. It's doing some freaky shit."
Mickey's right. Her face was completely tortured, full of confusion and almost anger. Hallie tilts her head at the girl mockingly, putting a finger to her shit to analyze. "Yeah, you look quizzical yet pensive." Mickey shrugs, putting an arm around his girlfriend also pretending to look concerned. "Yeah, how can we help? Do you have any questions regarding the sequel to your fucked up life."
Mary stares them down, she's been here before, done this before. But they already know that. She wasn't sure how they knew, but they did. "Why?" Mickey waved a finger at the girl, happily and approvingly.
"Good question. You took the bait." Hallie circles her boyfriend, before wrapping her arms around him smiling sinisterly. "Ever see Natural born killers? Mickey and I have this whole Mallory-Woody/Harrelson/Juliette Lewis thing going on." Mickey looks back at her pointedly, causing the girl to roll her eyes.
"I don't really like that comparison, honey." Hallie looks over at Mary, whispering in her ear like they used to, talking smack on her boyfriend. "He hates Oliver Stone." Mary looks over at her, as Mickey looks over at his girlfriend, a weird gleam in his eye. "I just think his work is overwrought."
Mary is waning, completely overstimulated by the confusion and the ringing in her ears. "C'mon Mary, don't fade on us. We want to see Bloody Mary. We've been planning this for a year, please humor us." Hallie uses a baby voice on the girl, mocking her. Mary turns to Cotton, beginning to untie him, when Mickey begins to tsk.
"Nope, you had your chance." He goes to lunge at her with the knife, but she backs off.
Stu approaches the side theatre door, tugging on it but its locked. "Shit..." He moves along the wall of the theatre, heading to another door to try and help his girlfriend, who he had a inkling was in trouble.
Hallie and Mickey move around Mary, taunting her and taking turns filming her with the camera. "We met on the internet." Mickey starts, apparently beginning to tell the story, while making it seem like some kind of love story. Mickey and Hallie talking to eachother, while taunting the brunette in front of them.
"He sent me the cutest email." Hallie had a dreamy look in her eyes that was almost dangerous. Mickey nodded at his girlfriend, continuing "I read her postings on the horror movie chat boards and fell hopelessly. Hook, line and sinker.."
Hallie moved a piece of Mary's hair with her knife, whispering in her ear. "We have our own website now.. a whole page dedicated to you.. Bloody Mary. But don't worry.. we didn't tell anyone your secret.." Mickey nodded in agreement with the girl.
"You'd be amazed at how many of us there are. It's a whole world, Mary. You're really popular amongst the demented." Mary scoffed at Mickey in disgust and glared at him. "I'm honored you appreciate my work." She spat at him, causing him to get furious, meanwhile Cotton mumbles under his breath about the two of them being fucked in the head.
"Poor Cotton, could life be a little more cruel?" Mary watched the two, calculating there every move while she struggled not to have the mentality of a scared victim. "You're not going to get away with this." The two college students began to laugh in her face. They wanted to get caught. They wanted to go to prison, and be the inspiration of Stab 2, and even hoping for the death penalty in their own sick way. "Hope your ready for a surprise Mary. We got one last one for you."
