The next morning, the early sun cast a light on an otherwise dark and joyless morning as the blood stained campus slowly comes to life. The local campus security has been converted into a media event. News trucks, cameras and reporters stand guard outside while inside, the place is packed. No longer just a campus security office -- the place had been converted to a local police station as well as FBI headquarters, uniforms were swarming the place.

In a back section of the room, Sheriff Hartley and Captain Tyler are in a huge conversation with Dean Fischer, tempers heated, with it being a long night for everyone. "We don't know if it's random. We haven't been able to connect the victims." The sheriff shakes head, doubtfully, looking at a notepad. "The two victims were stabbed without thought and the sorority girl was gutted without autopsy precision." The dean was getting very frustrated at the two men, about to explode. "Jesus Christ! Just do something! I will not have a repeat of Gainesville on my campus."

Stu listens to this exchange, slowly stepping forward, causing the three men to look over at him. "Mary Prescott sir.." The men pause, looking between each other and back at him. Stu rolls his eyes, frustrated that it wasn't clicking. "She's the connection." The three men tell him that they were already aware, with Stu clearly not being welcome in the conversation. "Look son, we know you've been through this, but we got it under control. Just let us do our jobs." Stu makes a funny face at them before turning away, right as Giselle Weathers is ushered in by two officers.

Meanwhile, in Mary's dorm room sits Stu, Hallie, Billy and Mickey lounging around pillows and blankets, the clear remnants of a sleepover. Billy pulls down the blinds, blocking the view from the two officers who are outside standing guard. "How many guys do they have on you?" Billy looked out the blinds, popping a question. Mickey stood beside him, silently counting. "I've counted four so far."

Hallie is reading a notebook from her hand, not looking up at her friends. "Okay, you're sure about skipping calculus?" Mary smiles lightly and laughs, pulling the notebook away from her friend. "Please..I have a perfect excuse." Hallie looks up at her, with an eyebrow raised "What bout rehearsal?" Mary nods her head to say that she wouldn't be skipping that. "Well I'll cover you through rehearsal. Stu, when do you get out of docu-drama?" Stu lifted his head up from his book to look at the girls before saying simply, 2 o clock. "So, you'll relieve me at 2:30..."

"And watch her until 8.. I have to edit my project." Stu says, while writing notes in his notebook. Mary looks at her boyfriend, interested in him being so focused on schoolwork for once, when he never was when they were teenagers. Billy rubs his hands together, "Perfect. I'll be outta micro-bio and then we can grab a bite." Mary quickly shakes her head at her friends suggestion, causing Stu and Billy to be concerned for her again, wondering why their friend was so shaky after everything they have been through 2 years ago.

"This is exactly what I don't want.. being babied and getting unnecessary attention. I'm perfectly fine." Mickey looked at her with amusement, causing the other two boys to act defensive of their friend. "You aren't fine Mary.." Mary looked at Billy as he said this before shrugging. "Honestly, you don't have much of a choice." Stu shrugged with a smile on his face, while his two friends glanced at him. Stu puts his arms around Mary, pulling her close to him, meanwhile Mickey and Hallie argue about what to do later on in the evening, Billy completely left the conversation bidding everyone goodbye as he went to class. "Mary, I'll see you tonight okay..? It's going to be okay." Mary went to say something, protesting, but the look in Billys eyes, one that she doesn't see towards herself often, shut her up quickly.

Stu kisses her sweetly, as she sighs when they pull away. "You know, our past shouldn't be allowed to bleed out on the rest of our friends.." Stu squeezed her shoulder in reassurance, causing her to lean into him. "Let us decide that Mary.."

Mary looked up at her boyfriend, "What about your film? Isn't it due for your class next week? Have you even started it.. I know you like to slack off." Stu laughed at her before kissing her again, to shut her up from the topic that was clearly bothering her. "It's gonna be fine.. no one will figure us out. I promised two years ago, and I'm keeping it." Mary sighed and nodded, acknowledging that she knew he would keep the promise, and leaned her head on the crook of his neck.

-Later On-

Giselle moves through the lobby of the student union area where she sees Debbie Salt heading towards her. She tries to move away but she wasn't quick enough. "Hey Giselle, any leads?" Giselle hangs her head down, mumbling "fuck.." under her breath. She turns around to face Debbie, with a fake smile on her face. "Tons and Tons." Debbie walks around Giselle to look at her with a sweet smile.

"Where's Mary's father?" Giselle looked at the reporter, dumbly, as if she just asked the stupidest question she could've asked. "Dead. Didn't you read my sisters book?" Giselle moves to walk past the reporter, but she blocks her again. "Are you sure about that? Parents are always responsible. It always starts in the home." Giselle glares at the reporter, who blocks her way from leaving, opens her mouth and closes it again in disbelief.

"Look, I know you kinda hold my sister up as your career template or whatever and it gives you some anal charge to challenge me since she's dead, but you win. Neil Prescott killed himself, after killing his daughter, and my sister. I'm no longer interested in the scoop. Excuse me now." Giselle pushed past Debbie, knocking her shoulder into her roughly moving to a nearby newsstand. The tabloid papers are exploiting what is going on, and crazy headlines about murder dominate the news rack.

Giselle was extremely bothered by this, and just as she goes to turn away, her phone rings. She pulls the phone out of her pocket, and answers it. "Hello?" A man on the other end answers, almost too quickly "Hello Giselle." His voice was unmistakable, almost exactly like how her sister had described it - it was clear that this was the killer. "Who is this?" "I'll give you one guess."

Giselle immediately senses the danger, and begins to look around for help. She spots a campus cop across the lobby, she begins to slowly walk over towards him, while keeping the man on the phone. "Who is this?"

"That's not the way we play the game."

"I don't play games." Giselle was being to get extremely upset, very quickly.

"What if your life depended on it?"

Giselle begins to get rude with him almost, getting angrier by the second. "What do you want."

"You're pretty when you're angry." Giselle stops in her tracks, her blood going ice cold. She looks around, the place alive with people. She realizes that he could be anywhere. "Where are you."

"I'm everywhere." Giselle keeps walking, moving towards the cop, and getting closer to him. "Oh- a god complex. How creative." "Stay away from the cop." It was a deadly warning, causing Giselle to stop walking, but she plays it cool. She looks above her to see students hanging over an upper balcony. "What do you want from me."

"It's what you want from me." Giselle didn't respond right away, completely silenced by the words, almost confused by what he meant. "What do you mean?" She's looking around her, trying to figure out who it could be, but cellular phones are more common now then they were when her sister had died. "You're writing another book right? A sequel to Gale's story.. that's why you're here right? The story isn't over." Giselle rolls her eyes at this comment, even though it was true.

"You're getting obvious." "No, Giselle.. I'm just getting started." Giselle tries to keep him on the phone, but hears the 'click' causing the phone to go dead. Giselle spins around, doing a quick circle to make sure no one is around her. She turns and heads right into Derek, causing them both to gasp in surprise.
