chapter six—you should run
About a day has passed since then.
Adeline and the others are now on the train again heading to their destination hopefully without anyone trying to kill them.
It's now night and they're all sleeping on the train in their own little room.
Adeline couldn't sleep for some reason.
So she decided to write to Victoria.
Back at camp, Victoria saw the notebook glow she grabbed it and saw Adeline writing.
"Woah!" Victoria said.
"What's that?" Someone said Victoria turned around and it was Clarisse. "Uh, nothing. It's just a notebook Adeline gave to me before she left."
Clarisse titled her head "How thoughtful of her" Victoria closed the book. "Are you still mad for what they did?"
"Percy mostly he broke my weapon!" Clarisse said. Victoria sighed and called her over to sit she did and Victoria showed her the notebook.
"Adeline gave this to me so I can communicate with her! She like tells me what happens and I can write back if something happens here" Victoria said.
Clarisse took the notebook from her "So you can write her back?" Victoria nodded.
"I'll write her right now!" Victoria said as she grabbed the pen Adeline gave her.
Clarisse was still sitting next to her as Victoria wrote to Adeline about what's been happening there.
She closed the notebook after writing "Now we wait maybe she'll respond." Victoria said as she put the notebook under her bed.
"Do you wanna do something?" Victoria said looking at Clarisse.
Clarisse turned her head "Like what?"
Clarisse only hangs out with Victoria even tho she's the daughter of Aphrodite they just became really close Clarisse is mean to many people but not Victoria.
Victoria had an idea "Let's take a walk by the lake!" Victoria and her walked there and they started to talk.
Some people found it odd Clarisse was always nice to her and would protect her if anything like people thought Clarisse was her overprotective girlfriend.
