chapter two—who are you?
Adeline still confused she didn't even know what to say. "I'm Chiron," he said to make the conversation less awkward. Adeline was still confused but he led her into the camp. Adeline spoke she was still confused wondering why she was still here , "Wait why I'm I even here?"
Chiron looked down at her "Your a half-blood! your father is Ares" Adeline looked up at him "How do you know that?" She thought it was kinda weird but at this point she didn't care all of this was weird.
"I know who you are Adeline," Chiron said. She walked into the camp and she looked around seeing all the other kids. They were playing games, talking with each other, and practicing. She smiled all of this looked cool actually but would she be able to fit in?
After a while of looking around and introducing her to some other kids there, he gave her a shirt then walked her to her cabin. "You're gonna do amazing here Adeline.. good luck." He walked away.
Adeline watched as he walked away then went to a area of her cabin with her suitcase. She noticed everyone whispering and looking at her, Adeline looked down in embarrassment just looking through her suitcase.
She took a deep breath looking at the shirt Chiron gave her. She stayed in her cabin all day until it was finally nighttime she didn't wanna talk to anyone there. She was just afraid everyone would judge her. She saw everyone settle in so it was time for everyone to go to sleep.
So, Adeline got ready to sleep as she laid down she really go to thinking.. she was actually gonna be at this camp! Looks like this is how it was gonna be she was now stuck here. As much as she didn't want to be here maybe it was a good thing?
To get away from all the drama at school. Just get rid of all it all but.. at the same time she wanted to go home also. Be back with Lydia and her friends. But she couldn't think about this now tomorrow was a new day for her a full day at camp half-blood.
It's now the next day and Adeline was woken up by people outside. She groaned in annoyance what time even was it? So she fully got up and went to her suitcase grabbing clothes for today I mean she only needed to grab pants because cause she had to wear the shirt she was given.
"This is the ugliest shirt I have ever seen!" Adeline said as she put it on. She took a deep breath and buried her hands in her face. "Okay Adeline you got this."
She walked out of her cabin and talked to herself "Make friends okay... I got this!" She started walking around the camp then someone came up to her "Hey.. your Adeline right?" She looked at the girl trying to not be awkward but she couldn't tell if the girl was actually talking to her.
