chapter four—first adventure
Okay, it's the next day and some people were gathered around in a circle. Chiron was explaining some things about a quest for Percy Jackson and they needed Zeus bolts and Percy found out his mom is still alive.
"This quest will proceed towards the underworld where you will confront the god who was rebelled against his brothers Hades. The entrance to Hades domain lies under the city of Los Angeles." Chiron said.
Adeline was a bit confused and she also wanted to see what the underworld looks like and who wouldn't wanna go to LA.
I mean she couldn't stay at this boring camp.
Chiron said Percy can pick four people out of the other twelve kids standing there.
Percy looked at Adeline and he said her name. Adeline looked at him confused she didn't think he would choose her.
Chiron looked at Percy "Are you sure you wanna just choose and not here more?"
Percy nodded "If this thing is gonna be hard to get I think it would be nice.. to have someone by my side and never back down from a fight just like Adeline did in Capture the Flag she didn't leave me behind"
Adeline smiled at his little compliment. Chiron looked at Adeline "The first quest-mate shall be Adeline Irvine!" He said.
Adeline nodded which gave them a yes she would go. Percy then chose Annabeth cause she was alone a great person and wasn't afraid of anything or wouldn't hesitate to do something.
And now he had to pick two more people. Percy went to go find someone cause he already knew who to choose as one of them.
He chose Grover and he needed one more person. He didn't know who so Adeline found him walking with Grover deciding on who to choose.
"Hey.. just wanna say thanks for choosing me and I have someone in mind you should choose. She's a great person and she can.. fight I guess" Adeline said as she walked to the side of him.
"Who?" He asked. Adeline looked at Inez "Her. I mean I know you don't know her but trust me! She will like lighten up the mood."
Percy looked at Adeline as she had a smile on her face. "Fine.." he said.
Adeline patted his back "Really?! Thank you! You're the best" she said walking away to go tell Inez.
