Chapter One : The New Greenie

"Stop being an ass." She shouted.

Like every morning, Eli and Minho were arguing about the dumbest thing you've ever know.

"Oh but you love my ass, Sunshine." Minho said with his arrogant voice.

"Listen to me you shank. I don't know for who you think you are but you are the dumbest shank I know because you're the only one who think that I can't be a runner. Because of what ? Because I'm a girl, ugh ?" She was yelling at him.

In fact she was the only one here who wasn't scared of arguing with Minho.

She was just his amusement, before he ran into the maze, for him. He just look at her and smile arrogantly.

"You know what ?" He turned in her direction to hear what she had to say, again.

"Your hair looks so bad, today." All the Gladers turned to Minho.

"She's crazy."

"Ooohhh."

"Touche."

All the Gladers were looking at Minho, thinking that he was gonna strangle her.

"You little shank." He was so offended. He walked forward her, ready to kill her maybe.

At least that was his dark chocolate eyes were saying.

Shuck me. She thought.

She had to admit, when he looked at her with those eyes...WAIT I HATE HIM. I CAN'T THINK OF THAT. EWW GROSS.

"STOP !" Someone yelled.

All the Gladers turned around to discover Alby walking forward Eli and Minho.

"I'm sick of you two. Get out here and do you work." Alby said angrily to the two ennemies.

The brunette looked at Minho with the most arrogant expression you could ever see.

"NOW !" They both jumped of fear and go to their work without talking to each other.

Eli was a Slicer, she fed the animals who were in the Glade. The Keeper of the Slicers was Winston.

He is a cool guy who respects everyone in the Glade even Eli who wasn't really respected by the others because she was the only girl here.

"Hey, Winston ? I think there's a problem with the pig." Eli said, she was kinda worry for the pig actually.

Winston walk to her, when he saw the pig, he takes a step back.

"Holly shuck" his eyes goes wide, the pig was laying on the ground probably dying.

"What do we do ? Bury him ?" She said with a disgust face while she stared at the pig.

"I think so," he stopped a moment, "come on, help me to carry him."

She gave him a death stare. She was in Glade for 5 months now and she never saw something like that before.

"Yeah, y'know I don't have this much strength. I could ask Gally or Chuck or Clint."

That was when it suited her not to have any strength. When it came to tangling with Minho, she had strength. But right now, she couldn't even look at the pig without having vomit coming up.

"Seriously ? Eli ? Get your ass here and help me now." Winston said, giving her a death stare.

"I'm sorry, but I really can't. It's disgusting. And-" She got stopped the alarm of the Box coming up.

The new greenie was arriving.
"Save by the bell" she muttered to herself.

"You got chance, dumbass." Winston told her while starting to run in direction of the Box coming up.

"I'm not dumb." She said before running too.

The Box was already up when she arrived. Some guys opened the Box and Gally jumped in.

The new greenie had brown sweaty hair, he was kinda skinny. Gally took him out of the box, the new one was on the ground and look like he was afraid.

Suddenly he got up and sprinted into the Glade. Zart shouted that there was a new runner, which exhausted Eli. But that was before the new guy tripped and fell to the ground like a stupid shank.

"HE is dumb not me, shank face." Eli said with a proud smile to Winston who was exhausted of her.
