VICTORIA'S HEART DROPPED when she realized it was John B in the center of the attention. Topper was towering over him, as he rolled in the shallow sea water. "Hey, John B, don't make me drown you like your old man, all right?" Topper glared at the boy, before kicking him once again, this time even deeper into the water.
The crowd surrounding them chanted, giving John B motivation to keep going. He couldn't be seen as weak.
When Topper turned around, to celebrate his victory, he got up and ran up to him. John B wrapped his arms around Topper's hips, grunting, as both of them fell to the ground.
"Give it to him!" a boy in the crowd shouted.
Sarah Cameron, whose boyfriend was taking part in the fight, was gripping her hands to her hair in anxiety, overwhelmed by the situation.
"John B, let him go!" Victoria tried to get his attention, but failed. The fight was obviously unequal, not in terms of strength, however in terms of reputation and wealth. Topper could sue John B for rubbing his finger against him.
The fight continued, with both participants out of the water, throwing and taking hits equally. Sarah tried convincing her boyfriend to stop the fight, to no avail.
"Come on, John B," Topper taunted him, balling his fists.
"Fight! Fight! Fight!"
Holding eye contact for a few seconds, John B punched his opponent.
"That's what I'm talking about!" JJ cheered his friend on.
"JJ!" Victoria slapped his elbow.
"What?" he shrugged.
"Stop encouraging him! Do something!" she worriedly wanted JJ to get John B out of the fight, however as a reply, all she got was him shaking his head, and rooting for John B to win.
"Come on!" the Pogue yelled at Topper, receiving a strong swing, causing his to fall a few steps backwards.
"Stop!" Kiara tried to step in, but Charlie paused her. "John B!"
Topper swerved again, yet missing JB. The boy took the opportunity and grabbed his waist, throwing him in the water, "Come on, Topper! Let's go!"
He waited for Topper to climb out. After a few kicks, and punches, the Kook managed to push John B underwater. He wasn't in sight anymore. Topper held his head underwater, drowning him.
"JJ, please," she turned to the blonde for help, as tears polled in her eyes.
The atmosphere quickly changed, as waves completely covered John B's body, everyone was screaming at Topper to stop drowning the boy.
