Luna:
I held into my mothers waist as the horse galloped along the dirt trail. It was quiet as we traveled through the Italian country side. The summer breeze was war on my cold skin. I sighed softly
"You okay cousin?" Jasper asked. I smiled at my cousin. That pale face, bleach blonde hair with a slight wave, and the green eyes. I really missed my cousins.
"Couldn't be better" I replied. Having secretly followed us along with Grace Jasper rode on her back who was in wolf form. The brown furred, green eyed wolf snorted.
"Hey Grace, how you holding up?" I asked. She growled as she ran, her eyes flickering up to Jasper.
"Heh, you wouldn't eat me. I'm all air and stone" he said.
"Then why don't you travel yourself" I point out. Grace growled at Jasper and jumped up. Before Jasper could fall he evaporated into a cloud of white smoke with two green dots at the top of the trail of smoke. The cloud smoke of Jasper flew quickly l darting in ziz-zags before a hand stretched out an litteraly grabbed the smoke.
"Enough of that before ya get lost" Edmund told Jasper. He groaned in frustration, a sort of low whislte. Jasper's control of air and earth was pretty cool, but it still made him vullnerable to use. His body could be heavy and as hard as stone, making him stronger and slower. He could be a cloud of smoke, or just part of his body could be smoke. He could be caught in either form and could even be caught in a jar. While he was quicker, he was weaker. He wasn't strong enough to move through high winds in air-form either. Every power a vampire had, had limits and weaknesses. Rosella halted the horse,
"We break here for now" she told us. In the distance I could faintly se le the bluish out line of a town.
"Home" I murmmered. It want dark yet, but we all needed a break. Once we left Lucifers mountainside castle we left immediately with no break. I sighed. Grace had darted in the bushes, and then dressed. She stepped out from behind a tree,
"Luna, I've missed you" Grace said.
"Miss you too" I replied. She looked away,
"Listen, I'm sorry-" she began.
"Sorry for what?" I interupted her.
"I should have known the full want you. You are nothing like some demon" she said, her eyes tearing up.
"Its okay. You guys made an awesome rescue party" I told her. She grinned,
"So what happened?" Jasper asked me. I looked up, watching the clouds go by.
"There was a wraith, Eva, and she took care if me, and would five me lessons on the customs of archangels" I told him.
"And what are the customs?" my mother asked. I chuckled,
"It's considered quite rude to enter ones home without permission. Those with a low position of authority are not permitted to do so much as look a higher class person in eye unless permitted to. Demons and archangels work on their own heiarchy. Archangels are supreme above angels who to demons. Demons with red glowing eyes are higher class demoms with more power" I answered him.
"Heh, your knowledge may come usefull on an infilltration mission" Edmund suggested.
"No" William said sharply,
"At risk of them catching her again, no" William said sternly.
"Oh come on, I bet she'd love to kick that guys ass, uh- um" Edmund said.
"Lucifer, I was um- to marry him" I lied without meaning to. 'You idiot, why did you lie?!' My mind argued with me sense of reasoning, but found no logical answer.
"What ever his name I'm sure you'd love to help your father tear him limb from limb" Edmund told me. I couldn't help but smile at that statement. I infact would love to shred Lucifer to pieces.
"Well lets keep moving" William decided. We continued moving, and within two hours I was in Aunt Violets arms.
"Your back where you belong, thank goodness" she said. She pulled away,
"I can't believe you two ran off like that" Eleanor and Violet scolded Grace and Jasper.
"Heh, well they made a dumb decision, but surely they made responsible choices" Uncle Samuel said as he ruffled his sons hair. Jasper grinned,
"They had to of in order to make it back alive" Samuel added. Eleanor nodded her head,
"I suppose, and thats what matters. They are back" she said. Night fell quickly, and I was in my bed, sleep came quickly.
William:
"Word needs to be sent to Cole and Ginger" I said.
"Right" Violet said. She took a feather out, and dipprd it in a cup of.ink before writting out the letter.
"Word must get out. I feel that war is coming" I said.
"Fourteen years of peace down a river" Rossella complained.
"In history there are times of peace. We just happen to be in another time. Doesn't mean we have to be glum my lovely love" I told her. I brushed her brown hair behind her ears. She smiled, her cheeks turning pink as I brought my lips to hers.
"Whoah, did not mean to intrude" said a short blonde haired boy. Jasper turned away. I pulled away from Rosella, and cleared my throat,
"Erm- sorry 'bout that. Come in" I called me nephew in.
"Jasper are you okay?" Samuel asked.
"Yes father I'm fine, but... I wanted to ask if I could fight. I know there will be warefare. So please father for my family let me fight" he said. My eyes went to Samuel.
"Well?" Violet asked.
"Your mother would never let you" Samuel answered him.
"Would you let me?" Jasper asked. Their green eyes met eye to eye, and Samuel had no answer. It was funny because if Jasper didn't have Eleanor's slightly wavy hair Jasper could be Samuel's twin brother!
"We'll talk later" Samuel said. Jasper left, his body disolving into a cloud of smoke.
"Would you let him?" I asked my brother.
"Not unless he could take one of us down, an adult vampire with expirience, one of us that wouldn't actuall kill him" Samuel told me,
"Not my only son unless he was trained by an expert in military combat" Samuel said.
"I volunteer as tribute!" Edmund blurted out. Our eyes starred at him,
"Sorry, seemed like the appropiate thing to say" Edmund said as he nervously rocked back and forth on his heels.
"We'll see" Samuel said before leaving my office.
Luna:
"Get away from me" I screamed.
"You are mine" Luke told me. His hands went around me waist. I couldn't see his face, it was too dark. Someone came up from behind me, their hand made my body go numb,
"Michael?" I called to him. The world around me melted into blobs of goo.
My eyes futteted open, my mind free of the nightmare. My hand went my had where I felt a hand on my head. My eyes widened,
"Oh my" I whispered. I turned my head to see a familiar face.
