Battle In The City

Luna:

My shadow ecased me, and I left the castle. I figured I'd be better off fighting. I entered the city when a stake flew over my shoulder. It stabbed an inocent citizen. I hissed in fury at the small man. His eyes glowed yellow as he shot another stake. I dodged and charged. I zipped towards him in zig-zags, before punching him in the stomach once close enough. He was sent flying backwars and he slammed into a nearby building. Smoke reached my nose as a building went up in flames. All of the sudden a couple of men grabbed me.

"Well if it isn't the princess!" One of them said.

"We'll be paid well for her return" the other said.

"Let me go!" I demanded. I turned my head, and bit down on his hand. He let go and screamed as his hand burned with venom. I swung me foot to kick the other man when a couple other people grabbed me. I struggled to bite them, but they kept away from my fangs. Finally my hands were tied behind my back. I looked to the sky when I saw something flying above. I almost hoped it was May or even Michael, but it disappeared. I suddnenly felt chains be tired around my wrists keeping me from punching them. A snarl escaped my mouth, and I kicked outward. One of the men collapsed the ground, his hands covering his groin as he howled in pain. My feet touched the darkness of my shadow, and i let the rest of my body slip into the darkness. I ran through the darkness towards a light, and pulled myself out of a different shadow else where. I was still in the town, but in one of the buildings. I sighed in relief. I hadn't expected to be recognized by them. Michael was right, they were after me.

"Hey" I heared a voice say.

"Michael! Oh thank goodness your... Here" I stopped short, and starred at him. It want Michael. Is hair was darker, and his eyes were brown.

Rosella:

"Fire!" Alexander ordered. Stake gunners from high above fired rounds of stakes at the demons accroding to Edmund's strategy. Not many were killed, but it forced the demons back.

"Go!" William commanded. We charged towarda their front line. My teeth sank down in a womans throat. She swung a dagger out towards my back, but my free hand caught her hand. I dropped her dead to avoid a fiery breath from an archangel. I jumped into the air, dodging another breath of fire when an archangel swooped in. He held a dagger aimes on my neck. He forced me back in mid air. My back slammed into the wall around the town, but I held his hand holding dagger away. I grinned as my body disappeared into a dark shadow. I reappeared on his back, and sunk my fangs into his neck. He let out a gurgled cry as he thrashed about in the air. He fell to the ground with a sickening crunch of his bones. His wings twitched, his body lifeless. I stepped away when I heared a whistling sound. I moved left, but not fast enough to dodge four stakes to my back. They were the narrow wood stakes. Narrow wood stakes had a faster firing rate, but didn't kill as effectivly as a thicker wood stake. What ever the stake it still burned. A fog surrounded the gunners feet and traveled up until his body was encased in ice. Edmund was at my side, and carefully took the stakes out of my back.

"Thanks guys" I thanked them.

"Don't thank me yet" Edmund told me,

"I can feel it, there's an archangel in the town, and Luna's there" he told me.

"What? I'll go" I said.

"We need you out here" Samuel told me,

"We need all of us out here" he added. Suddenly a young boy was thrown back. A taller, muscular archangel flew at him. The young boy grabbed him before the stake could be thrusted. Jasper swung him around, and bashed his skull into the wall. The archangel fell dead.

"Jasper" Samuel called.

"Its your call, Luna needs you" he said. Jasper nodded, and gave his father a smile,

"I won't let you or my cousin down" he said before turning into a puff of smoke. He zipped through the air into the city.

"Alright, lets keep fighting" William said.

"Force 'em back, shove 'em back!" Edmund ordered as we charged in again.
