Luna:
After the day of sleding, and skiing we returned to the inn. Edmund aranged for two separate rooms. One for Grace and I, and the other he would share with Jasper. Edmund was almost like an uncle.
"When, do you think we will go home?" Grace asked.
"I don't know" I replied. The room was silent untill Grace's soft snores filled the silence. I sighed, 'Why me, why not someone else that would be happy to marry a powetfull Archangel?' I thought. My eyes finally closed shut, and sleep took hold. It was peacefull, blissfull, and hissing? My eyes opened and adjusted to the light that poured through the window. A snake sat curled up in the center of the room.
"Luna?" Grace caled.
"Yeah?" I replied.
"You se it right, and its not some nightmare?" Grace asked referring to the snake. The snake uncoiled and it stretched upwards. Small arms grew from its sides, and the scales formed some sort of leather coat. The tail split into legs. A woman in a short black skirt, black tights, a blue blouse, a pair of combat boots.
"Ah, the lovely Ms. Luna, fiance of master Luke" she said. A crashing sound echoed from Edmund's room.
The woman smiled,
"Sounds like my parentner, amd your friends have met. I am Vanessa, and I think I'll take both of you back with me" she said. Grace growled her eyes turned yellow. Her nails lengthened into claws and she lunged. Vanessa's arm whippd out, her skin scaly now like a snake. Her arm curled around her neck, choking her.
"Grace hang on!" I called. I jumped, my fist raised. My fist was an inch away from Vanessa's face when she stopped me. I struggled to bit her, but her arm was around my neck. Grace brought her hands to Vanessa's arm, and they glowed red with heat. Vanessa shrieked and released us. My shadow surrounded Grace and I, and we appeared in the room over.
"Whoa! What the hell is that?" I asked. A large, browned furred thing was trying to maul Jasper and Edmund. It was equipped with long, black curved claws. Its eyes were narrow slits. Jasper and Edmund ran to my side.
"Hurry and get us out of here!" Jasper said. My shadow came up around us, enclosing us in darkness.
"You guys okay?" Jasper asked as we moved through the dark shadows in the town.
"Yeah, but what was that thing?" Grace asked.
"A kitsune, nasty little things. Another relitive of werewolves, but they have a fox-like nature" Edmund said. We left my shadow in the midst of a shadow.
"Alright, I guess you can say they're foxy" Jasper joked. I rolled my eyes.
"We better go by foot. They must have tracked the train to our location" Edmund said. We climbed a tree and with vampiric agility we began traveling by jumping tree to tree.
"We still have to get through Germany, and move through Denmark" Grace said. We continued moving through the forest untill dawn. The sky was cloudy, and the sun on the horizon was pink.
"Lets break here" Edmund decided. I jumped down from the tree. Jasper landed beside me. He pressed his hands against a tree. Its bark was roigh, and rotting. Jasper easily knocked it down with his bare hands.
"Way to be eviromentall friendly" Grace said. Jasper in response stuck his tongue out, exposing his fangs. I sat on the log and drank from my bottle of A-positive.
"Luna, do you mind sharing. I drank mine back in Switzerland" Jasper said. I handed him the bottle, and he drank nearly half of it. There was a couple gulps left.
