I opened my mouth to scream when a familiar voice met my ears.
"Luna, its me" Michael whispered. My eyes focused, and I recognized his green eyes, and brown hair that wac almost blonde.
"Oh you nearly have me a heart attack- if that were possible for a half vampire" I said nervoualy. He chuckled,
"Your funny, I like that" he told me.
"Why are you here, if my family sees you they'll bite your throat out" I warned him.
"I'm your angel gardian. I came to warn you" Michael told me.
"Warn me?" I asked.
"Luke and my Father will be here.in approximately two days. Maybe even tomorrow" Michael told me. My heart almost stopped, litterally.
"Oh god" I said. I looked at the floor.
"Luna are you okay?" Michael asked. I nodded my head.
"Yeah, I'm okay, maybe a bit sick" I admitted. I groaned n frustration.
"Luna, are you okay?" I heared.Jasper ask.
"Uh yeah" I called to him. Just as he peered in the door way I let Michael fall into the darkness of my shadow.
"Goodnight cousin" Jasper said before leaving. I waited until I heared his door shut. Michael emerged from the shadow.
"That's a neat trick" he told me.
"Thanks" I said with a smile.
"So, this is where you live? Cool castle" Michael said.
"Heh, yeah" I said,
"Its different than Lucifer's castle" I added.
"Um- Michael, why me? Why do I have to Luke's bride?" I asked.
"Your the daughter of two total, super powerfull vampires. Many vampires would be willing to listen to you. Dominance over all of Europe would be much easier" Michael told me. He chuckled,
"That and I suppose you are the most beautifull girl I've ever met" he told me. I felt myself blush,
"Your not bad looking yourself" I told him. He gave me a charming smile.
"Well I better go" he told me. I stood up,
"Will I see you again?" I couldn't help but ask. He grinned,
"Aw, you'll miss me won't you?" He teased, "probably my princess" he said. He came closer, and brought his lips to mine, completely taking.me by surprise. He left after a seconds kiss, and jumped from the window before disapearing in the trees.
William:
Early in the morning I sat in a pub among many high officials.
"Demons and archangels warfare. If love to fight them, but this sounds like a vampire thing" Tyler told me.
"Archangels and demons think they were the first family kind in the begining of all life existence. Sooner our later they start killing off inocent human's!" I pointed out.
"That's a pretty big assumptian" Tyler said.
"Hey what was the first family in existance. Was it vampires?" Suzzah asked. I leaned back in my chair,
"I don't know, in fact no one know. Many vampires love history, that piece of knowledge would be a gold mine" I said.
"Well any way, let me know if you change your mine" I said before shaking his and Suzzah's hands. I left the pub, and walked along the steet sidewalk on the way home. No human support, so hopefully Cole's pack would offer assitance. Other wise all of vampire kind was left to defend againsy demons and archangels... Unless.
"Edmund!" I called, "Edmund!!" I called louder. He ran down the stairs in a burst of speed.
"What?" He asked.
"That girl you like, she's an angel isn't she?" I asked.
"What do you mean she's an angel? You like her" he snapped, his brown eyes turning red. He took a challenging step towards me. I put my hands up defensively,
"No you idiot, I mean litteraly she is an angel with wings and stuff?" I explained. He stepped back, looking away nervously.
"Oh, erm- yeah she is" he replied. If Edmund were human he'd be blushing.
"Jeez, I start talking about the girl you love and you loose your mind" I teased.
"I don't love her" he blurted, "At least I don't know, but why are you along about her?" Edmund asked.
"The human kind do not wish to be involved in a vampire war, they are neutral, and I have no word from Cole either. Angel, are supposed to be enemies of most archangels and all demons aren't they?" I asked. He frowned,
"Yeah, but... I don't think angels would ever side with vampires. Not unless we went vegitarian..." He told me. His voice trailed off. I frowned,
"Where is the rebellious man I know? What happened in Italy?" I asked. He refused to speak, but held his hand out. I took his hand in a firm hand shake and the word I saw turned to mush.
Flashback/Edmund:
"Ellie!" I called to her. She was walking down the sidewalk with May. She turned, the corners of her lips twitching, but she refused to smile the slightest.
"I suppose I should give you space" May said and she walked away.
"You made it out of Lucifer's castle alive" she said, a hint of surprise in her voice.
"Yeah, my friends helped a bit, and my own strength of course" I told her. 'William do you see this' Edmunds thoughts entered my own, 'yeah' I replied. My body was like a ghost in the memory Edmund was showing me.
"So what is it you want?" Ellie asked Edmund. He took her hand in his, and gave her a nervous smile. Her cheeks turned pink.
"I'm leaving Italia..." Edmund said, now lost for words.
"And? Is that all?" Ellie asked.
"Uh- no. I-I'm not usually lost for words but, I want you to come with" Edmund finally said. Ellie recoiled quickly, and the despair in Edmund's eyes was one I had not seen in a long time; not since I met him.
"I don't understand" Edmund said. Edmund took a step towards Ellie, and she took a step away.
"Your a vampire, and I am an angel. Both of us have expirienced death, and though I believe not all vampires are wretched creatures, I would never give up the only life I have ever know for one of you, no matter how lonesome, not even for you Edmund" Ellie said.
"Ellie please" Edmund begged. A pair of white winga unfurled,
"We won't see each other again" Ellie said, she launched herself into the air without so much as saying goodbye. A snarl tore from Edmunds throat as he slammed his fist into the nearby wall. He disappeared in a blur of speed before archangel authorites could see him.
End of Flashback:
"Edmund-" I was lost for words now. 'Finding your mate was hard enough for some, but rejection like that was enough to pain the already dead heart of a vampire.
"Angels despise us, too. I'm not sure they'd ever help" Edmund said.
"Maybe we can ask others then. There are plenty of angels out there" I told him.
"Yeah" he muttered. The doors of the castle opened suddenly,
"We've got a battle in the town, vampire troops are already fending off demons" Alexander, commander of the army announced. I turned to Edmund,
"Are you well enough to work out a strategy?" I asked. He nodded his head before turning to Alexander as he began to walk out,
"I want stake guns aimed from the watch towers, fire immediately, force 'em back..." Edmund barked orders out as the door finally shut. I turned to see my nephew and brother at the stairs.
"Ready for battle?" I asked him. He nodded his head as we left the castle on foot for the town.
