"What's a shape shifter?" I asked.
"Humans with the abilty to change shape. Cousins of were werewolves. Dangerouse creatures" Edmund said. Grace stepped foreward,
"Grace no, we can't draw too much attention to ourselves, and if you get lost with the clones we can't tell you apart"Edmund said.
"Then what are we to do?" I asked. Edmund chuckled,
"We chuckled, we get the hell out of here" he said. At that moment the clones charged and we took off running at a slower speed. I felt a hand on the back of my neck.
"Luna, do you really think you can get away? I'm you, I know all your weaknesses" the clone laughed as she pulled me into a space between a few buildings. Her knee came up to my stomach, and I doubled over. She kicked me aside, but before I could hit the cold, wet ground my body disappeared into the darkness of the shadows. I reappeared behind, but she was ready.
"I know all your tricks too," she said as she slammed me against the brick wall. My head throbbed, and my conciousness threatened to slip away. The clone forced me to look her in the eye, and she grinned.
"Come on, lets return to master Lucifer, and Michael, and Luke" she told me.
"No, I hissed furiously.
"But why, you like sweet Michael, and that devilish Luke, so why fight? Both of them are great kissers" she said, amd leaned foreward to whisper in my ear,
"And you know that"
I growled in frustration before unexpectedly slamming my fist into the side of her jaw.
"I also know how much I hate a good fist to the jaw" I spat at her. I turned away, I had better things to do like find the others. That's when a cracking sound met my ears.
Jasper: I zipped through the town as a puff of smoke, my clone followed close behind. I stopped suddenly, and reformed. With a hand made of solid stone I attempted to strike at him. The clone dodged, and whirled around my eyes. I was blinded when I felt the smoke going down my throat. I fell to my knees, gagging. I inhaled and exhaled, but no air came through, and I sounded like I was croaking.
"Jasper!" Edmund called to me. He knelt down beside me, but I couldn't tell him what was wrong. His hand went to my forehead, using his sensory powers. ' I'm choking, do something!" I mentally shouted. His hand slapped me on the back, forcing the puff of smoke out of my lungs. Edmund quickly capturned my clone before he could reform in a jar.
"Edmund! I found Luna" Grace called. We quickly took off for the station. The conductor was taking in tickets.
"Hey, ihr nicht von hier bist du?(Your not from around here are you)" the man said.
" Wir sind Touristen(We are tourists.heading north)" Edmund said. The man looked over our tickets carefully, before nodding his head acceptingly. We took an empty part.of the train. Steam rose from the front part of the train, and the wheels slowly began to turn. Now moving away our clones would be left behind.
"Edmund?" Luna asked, she entered the room, but there was already a Luna beside us.
Grace:
Edmund stood up in front of us, his eyes focused on the Luna that had just entered the room.
"Edmund? Its me, Luna" she claimed.
"You liar, I'm the real Luna" the one beside me claimed.
"I broke your jaw, and you came after me. If it weren't for my shadow walking I would have been left behind" the other said. Edmund placed a hand on the fake Luna that had just entered.
"She's true, that one's false!" He said. The clone beside me raised a stake with vampiric speed, but Jasper caught her hand before I could be hit. He tossed her aside, and her back slammed into the door. The door opened, and Edmund, and Grace's clone entered.
"Hurry up stairs" Edmund said. There was a ladder leading up to a hatch, and we hurried up. We stood outside. The train was moving uphill, and snow was begining to fall. The clones came up as well.
"If I know anything about fightning these guys, Grace this is your call. You can't physically injure them, but burning them should work" he told me. I stood in front of the group, my hands out. The clones began walking towards us. Flames roared in my hands, but the falling snow put it out easily. Again I tried, but nothing.
"Grace you figure something out, just hurry" Luna said. Her shadow formed a visible wall in front of us as she struggled to hold off the clones. I closed my eyes, trying to feel that power, the heat when Edmund's words echoed in my mind. ' Your still part vampire, you'd be surprised how much stronger you could be if you gave into that side' his thoughts entered my mind telepicly. I swatted his hands away,
"Fine, jeez" I told. I pulled out the bottle of A-positive. Its rank odor met my nose like a brick wall. I took a sip, letting the disgusting, warm, sweet, smooth, delicious liquid run down my throat. Something sharp pierced my lower lip as I drank. I set the bottle down. My hands burned like crazy.
"Luna look out!" I exclaimed. My hands burned bluish-white. She ducked, just as white hot flames broke through her defence and knocked the clones off the train. The fell to the ground, their bodies melting like goo. My hands were litteraly, no pun intended, smoking hot! I gave Edmund grin.
"Violet and Mathew would br proud" Edmund told me. We returned to the inside of the train and enjoyed the ride across Switzerland to Germany.
