I Hate Your Kindness

Luke:

The dinner table was quiet later ay night, akwardly quiet.

"Luna, how've you been?" My mother asked.

"Fine, thanks for dinner" she said softly as she took a sip of the red liquid in her cup. Michael sat next to Luna who sat next to me. If it were't for her between us someone would have a streak knife in their eye.

"May I be exscused?" Luna asked. Lucifer opened his mouth, but Lady Arachne spoke first

"Go on Luna" she said.

"Thank you" Luna said. She stood up, pushed in her chair, and disapeared into her own shadow.

"I don't like that girl using her powers so freely. What do you think boy?" My father asked.

"I think it's fine. She doesn't use 'em to harm us" I said.

"I'm sorry what?" He asked, noticing that I didn't agree.

"I think it's fine, is there a problem?" I asked with a slightly sarcastic tone.

"Luke! You may be exscused" my mother scolded me. I left the room, and outside. My wings unfurled behind me. I ducked under the roof through the open arch. I fell a few feet before my silvery-black wings picked me up. I stepped onto the whitish grey tile roof. Luna sat on the roof. Her eyes were closed, and she looked happy. I reached out to her her shouldet, and she instantly recoiled. She was on her feet in an instant.

"What? What do you want?" She hissed in anoyance.

"I just came to see if you were okay" I replied.

"I don't need you checking on me" she snapped.

"Are you sure- I um-" I began.

"Just leave me alone" she hissed, fist went out, but I caught it. My grip was tight, and tightening still. Her eyes widening, and she was trembling. I loosened my grip before gently letting go. Luna frowned, she was glarring at me.

"What's wrong with you?" She snapped.

"Nothing, nothing at all" I told her, "Why?" She didn't respond, and jumped off the roof. She swung herself under to the plat form. I remaimed on the roof, and sighed. I sat down, and propped my head up with my hands. 'I try to be ne and see where it gets me' I thought glumly.

Luna:

I began walking down the hall, and I was about to enter my room.

"Hey beautifull" I heared Michael's voice say. I turned around,

"Come here. I want to tell you a secret" he told me.
