(half) brother - mom + his dad - turning 21 this year
sister - mom + dad - turning 16 this year
me - mom + dad - turning 13 this year
(step) sister - step mom + her dad - turning 10 this year
(half) brother - step mom + dad - was born on jan 19th
i just wanted yall to know so you know why lightbulb has such a "weird" family tree

1 week and a half later
Paintbrush POV
I groaned as I put my suitcase into Candy's truck. "Are you sure you wanna drive us all the way to campus?" Lightbulb asked, a little annoyed by her dad.
"Of course! It's the least I could do! You two are about to go off in the big world! I can help you one last time before then!" Lightbulb sighed. "Fine! I guess there's no arguing about it."
Lightbulb grabbed my hand and dragged me back inside the house. "Woah- Lighty wh-" "Be very quiet, Painty! I need to tell you something!" "Ooo-kaaay? What is it?"
"I think.. Flat Face and Testy are dating!" "Huh? What makes you say that?" "Just think about ittt! Fanny girl has been sleeping over at Testy's house all break!"
"..So have I.. with you." "Yeah but that's different! They're childhood friends! They went to school together and everything! They're 100% dating, all the math is there?"
"And what if your math doesn't add up?" I asked, crossing my arms. "My math always adds up! I didn't graduate high school for nothin'."
"I-.. y'know what? Sure. Believe whatever you wanna believe." Lightbulb's dad came running in, a bit frantic. "So slight change of plans- I have to drive Fireball to the hospital."
Lightbulb gasped. "Wait, who's Fireball?" "Fireball's my dad's girlfriend! Wait- dad- is she having the baby?!" "Mhm, so you two just take the train back- okay?"
"Okie dokie daddy-o! C'mon Painty!"

I sat down in the aisle seat as Lightbulb got comfy in the window. "You still never explained to me who Fireball is." "Yes I did! She's my dad's girlfriend! I said that."
"Yeah but like- can I at least get some backstory??" "Fine fine, stop whining, Painty." I grumbled and crossed my arms.
"So, my dad and my mom broke up when I was like 13- so the twins were only 6. My dad liked us more and my mom basically hated us so he has us most of the time."
Lightbulb took a lollipop out of her pocket before she continued speaking. "Anyways- only 2 years after that- my dad met Fireball. She doesn't live with us because Fireball lives with her brothers and my dad doesn't like 'em."
"Why?" "I dunno. He thinks they're 'freeloaders' or whatever. He spends a lot of time with her and they had the sexy time and then she got pregnant likeeee 32 weeks ago. So now she's havin' the baby."
