It had been one second into Minho's first public school experience and he had somehow already fucked it up.

"I'm sorry, bro. You're not on the list. I can't let you in"

"Well I'm new, bro. Of course I'm not on your list"

"You know what? With a tone like that, you can go fuck yourself. No list, no entry"

Minho considered punching him and starting the year with a quite literal bang. He looked the guy up and down: classic jock, like the ones in the movies...totally alien to him.

"Whatever"

he ended up saying. Him and his parents had spent the entire day moving boxes... fighting was way too much effort for someone like that.
He turned the corner, staring up at the wall separating him from his first high school party ever.

That's doable...

he thought and jumped. A hand on the top, legs dangling down Minho grunted as he pulled himself up then jumped down on the other side. Unluckily, he landed between two other guys.

Fuck being discreet I guess

"What the fuck dude!? You scared the shit out of me" the first one said.

He was short, thin, with a head of curly hair. Beside him stood a black haired, tall boy. Totally unphased.

"Wait... I've never seen you before" he said:
"Who are you again?"

"I just moved here" Minho sighed.

This is not how I wanted to be introduced to these people...

"Just moved here and you're already sneaking into parties?" the tall one scoffed:
"You seem fun"

"I'm Hongjoong and this is Seonghwa"

"Minho"

"Where did you even come from, Minho?"

"Ehm...Christian school?"

That was just about vague enough.

"PFFT-" Seonghwa almost spit out his drink:
"Welcome to hell, saint boy"

Minho tried his absolute best not to let what he was feeling show on his face. Oh...if only they knew... Before he could say something sarcastic though someone walked past the trio, capturing Minho's attention.
The first thing he noticed was the scent. A sweet mix of honey and vanilla that instantly made him lean towards it. The person to whom it belonged was...stunning. Blonde hair, glittery makeup and tiny waist accentuated by a crop top and a pair of big pants. Minho's heart stopped for a second. He had never seen someone like that in his whole life.

"Who's that?" he asked his new buddies.

Seonghwa scoffed as Joong explained:
"That's Han Jisung. Resident Queen bee. Crazy popular. Pretty sure he's made it into everyone's sexual fantasies at least once so don't worry, your reaction's normal"

"I thought he was girl-"

Minho stated honestly. But looking at him closely, the evident lack of boobs proved Hongjoong's point.

"Well last time I checked he went by he/him... Am I misremembering Hwa?" Joong asked his friend.

"Don't ask me... bitch changes pronouns every time I talk to them"

Ohh... so he's one of those...

Minho had heared of nonbinary people before... from his christian parents' rants on how disgusting they were. Thankfully, Minho was all about whatever could make his parents mad.

"Whatever they are... they're really cute" he stated.

"Oh I wouldn't go for them if I were you" Seonghwa warned:
"He's the worst of all worlds... a drug addict, a slut, a bully...you name it"

"Well at least they're a loyal customer" Joong said in pout:
"By the way Min, are you big on drugs? Ever thought of drug dealing before?"

But Minho's attention had been complitely deviated on the mysteriously gendered Queen Bee of the school.

"I'll go grab a drink"

he said, excusing himself.

"You scared him away" Seonghwa ranted.

"You're one to talk! <<Saint boy>>?? What were you thinking??"

"What else did you want me to say?? Christian school, who the fuck goes to Christian school if not Christian people!"

"So you haven't heared the whispers huh" Joong said, finally realising why Seonghwa seemed so clueless.

"No?"

"Lee Minho has been expelled from his last school just a few months ago. He fought a guy twice his size at the school entrance and broke three of his ribs. People say he's a maniac, that he loves violence. So yeah, Hwa. Saint boy my ass"

"Oh."
