Before Izuku knew it his daughter was here. He was just sitting, setting up her crib and baby monitor when his phone rang. He saw an unknown number and answered, clicking the speaker button before placing his phone on his desk.
"Hello, Midoriya Izuku speaking."
"Hello Midoriya-san, this is Mio from Musutafu General Hospital. I'm calling on behalf of a Tsukauchi-san to inform you that Aoki Mayela has given birth. You're allowed to bring up to three people with you. When you get here, come up to the third floor and give the receptionist your name. Have a great day Midoriya-san."
Izuku heard the line click, taking a second for the words to register before jumping up and running downstairs, basically screaming to his new family that they have to get to the hospital. He shook the entire ride to the hospital, from excitement or nerves he didn't know, but he was ready to meet his daughter.
"Oi, Nerd," Katsuki called from beside him, "Stop shaking. You're shaking the whole fucking car."
"Sorry, Kacchan, but I'm so nervous. I don't know what to name her, will she look like me? I don't know what to do!"
Katsuki gave Izuku a blank stare before throwing his hand onto the green haired man's lap, heating it up until he noticed. Once Izuku noticed he grabbed the hand, giving a shy smile as he played with the blonde's fingers.
Izuku practically jumped out of the car when Mitsuki parked. She locked the doors before he could though, turning around in her seat.
"Izuku," she said in a stern voice, gaining his attention, "I know you're excited and scared, but calm down, it's going to be fine. Would you like me and Masaru to come in with you, or are you okay with Katsuki?"
Izuku thought about it, "Everyone, please," he stated, finally calm.
MItsuki nodded and told him to remain calm as they walked through the hospital. He nodded and stayed calm until they got to the third floor. When the elevator door opened he practically dragged Katsuki with him, still playing with his hand.
The receptionist smiled at him, "How can I help you today, sir?"
"Uhm, I'm Midoriya I-I-Izuku," he said, practically vibrating from nerves.
The receptionist types something into her computer before looking back up to the small family, "She'll be in the viewing room. If you go down the hall to your right there will be a big window, she'll be in there. After a few minutes a nurse should come find you about signing the birth certificate and naming and all that fun stuff. I hope you have a great rest of your day!"
Izuku said something back then left to the window, again dragging Katsuki behind him. He got to the window and stopped in his tracks. He immediately knew who she was, the bright green eyes a give away.
"Kacchan," he whispered, wrapping himself completely around Katsuki's arm and pulling his other hand up to his face, "She's so beautiful."
He stood there in shock, seeing his daughter had made everything that happened much more real, but he couldn't bring himself to be angry about it. He wanted to cry, though he didn't know what the reason was. He felt a hand on his shoulder and then came back to reality. He looked over his shoulder to see Mitsuki standing behind him, a soft smile on her face.
Izuku admired her for another minute before a nurse came over to him to fill out some forms. The first being her birth certificate. He didn't know what to name her, he was so focused on making everything perfect that he forgot. He looked back at his daughter then wrote on the paper.
He finished all of the paperwork, the nurses giving him everything he would need when he was brought into the back of the room. The nurses taught him how to swaddle and hold her properly before giving her to him. Izuku looked down at his daughter, happy tears finally falling.
