It had officially been five months since moving into the Yuuei dorm building, and it was weird. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't as good as it could be. Izuku was still getting used to being around so many people, but he's doing better.
He's happy because everyone in the dorm building seems to be fine with Ichika, especially now that she has started walking. Everyone seems to be excited about having her around, Katsuki had said something about making the dorms less depressive.
Before they knew it, everyone was known as Ichika's Aunty this or Uncle that. Izuku and Katsuki had never gotten her into that habit, though they suspect it from the influence of Aunty Mina and Uncle Ei.
Sometimes the couple forget that they share the giant area with so many people, especially when they all go out. Izuku loves his new friends, he really does, but sometimes he misses the days when it's just him, Katsuki and Ichika.
So, based on that information, the class makes it an effort to leave the couple alone for a couple of hours every two weeks, as a way of thanking them for letting them have Ichika in their lives. They had never seen what the little family does during the time they were gone, as usually they were in their room before the class got back.
So you can imagine the class's surprise when they came home early and figured out what the family does.
Katsuki woke up and stretched, careful to not kick his boyfriend or daughter. Now that she is eighteen months old, she has switched to a toddler bed, though she usually winds up with her parents sometimes during the night.
Katsuki thought the dorms had seemed oddly quiet when he woke up, so he checked his phone. He saw the text from Kirishima saying that the class was at a movie theater and would be home in about an hour.
Katsuki nodded to himself before he changed into sweatpants and a tank top. He walked to the kitchen to cook, hoping to be able to surprise Izuku and Ichika with breakfast in bed.
Katsuki was about half way done with dinner when he felt arms wrap across his torso.
"Mornin', Kacchan," Izuku grumbled into Katsuki's back.
Katsuki couldn't reach Izuku because of the position so he patted the younger boy's thigh, "Morning, Love."
Izuku turned pink, digging his face even further into Katsuki's back. Katsuki grinned, he loved knowing that any little nickname makes Izuku blush. It just confirms that his love for the boy is real.
They had stayed like that, Izuku littering kisses all along Katsuki's back as he finished cooking breakfast. Just as Izuku was about to go get their daughter from their room she came bounding in, "Papa! Dada!"
Katsuki crouched down and picked the girl up, "Good morning, Princess!"
Izuku ruffled her hair, "Good morning, Sweetheart!"
Ichika laughed and just talked to her dads while they cooked, even though they didn't know what exactly she was saying they would respond enthusiastically.
Katsuki was laughing as he set the girl in her high chair, a custom gift from one of the students. He had gotten her a small serving of the breakfast he made for her, yogurt with chopped blueberries.
Katsuki pushed Izuku into a seat and got him a serving of the breakfast before grabbing his own plate. He sat his plate on the table next to Izuku's. He stood next to the boy as he ate, an arm wrapped around the smaller waist.
The couple was, yet again, responding enthusiastically to everything Ichika babbled about, even if most of it was just gibberish to them. They had just finished with their breakfast when they heard the dorm doors open.
They didn't acknowledge the people that walked in, waiting for Ichika to notice them first. Once Ichika noticed the people she demanded to be let down, so Katsuki had put her on the floor as Izuku grabbed their dishes from the table.
Katsuki walked up behind Izuku as he did the dishes, draping himself over the boy's back. He had his chin sitting on the shorter's shoulder. Kastuki would occasionally turn and give Izuku a kiss on the neck or shoulder, but other than that, they enjoyed the serenity that was their little family.
