Izuku had a bad feeling. He didn't know why though. Ichika had been sleeping well, Katsuki had been as nice as he has been lately, there was no news of anything bad happening in America.
So why did he feel like this? Why did he feel like everything was about to come crumbling down? Izuku didn't notice he was mumbling until he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked up to see Katsuki.
Katsuki gives him a hard look, "Why the fuck are you mumbling at," he checks a nearby clock, "seven in the morning?"
Izuku turned pink and shrugged, "I don't know. I-I feel like someth-hing bad is gonna happen. It's just a bad feeling y'know?"
Katsuki just nodded as he started making himself a cup of coffee. He was adding sugar to his cup as he reached his hand out to the bottle that needed to be warmed for Ichika. Katsuki's hand started to heat the bottle as he mixed the sugar with his coffee.
He looked back at Izuku after he didn't take the bottle back. He saw that Izuku was muttering about his bad feeling again, so he placed a hand on the boy's back.
"Oi, Nerd," Izuku looked up, "Everything should be fine. If anything happens with you guys, text me. I'll do the same. I promise. But before we do anything you need to feed Ichika, she's starting to get fussy."
Izuku looks up, noticing that Katsuki was right. He grabbed the bottle and picked Ichika up, feeding her the bottle as he walked back into the kitchen.
"That doesn't mean that it will be fine. What if I get hurt? What if you get hurt? What if Ichika gets hurt? What would she do if we both got hurt? What if something happens with your pa-"
Izuku was cut off when Katsuki gently grabbed his face with his hands, "Shut up, Dummy. You'll be fine, I won't let anything happen to you, or Ichika. I'll be fine if I get hurt. After all, I can't be a hero if I can't handle getting a little banged up. Like I said, you will text me if anything happens and vice versa. Sounds good?"
Izuku was caught in the silence. He stared into Katsuki's eyes, just now noticing that the crimson red helped him feel safe. Though the feeling wasn't completely gone, it was significantly weaker.
"Okay, Kacchan," he whispered.
Katsuki nodded and released Izuku. He gave them a look and went upstairs, presumably to get ready for school.
Izuku sighed, allowing his shoulders to relax and fall back into place. He looked at the girl in his arms, "What are we gonna do with Kacchan, huh?"
The girl simply giggled in return before going back to her bottle.
Izuku had finished his school work for the day, now watching his daughter as she was playing on the floor. His bad feeling had been getting worse all day, and right now it's at the worst it's been all day.
Izuku frowned, not knowing what to do. He was about to call Katsuki, as a way to keep himself feeling safe. Just as he reached for his phone it went off, the ring tone being Katsuki's.
Izuku had a small freak out before he answered, wondering if the boy was hurt or in trouble. He answered the phone with a meak, yet frantic, 'hello'.
"Nerd?" Katsuki's voice came through, but so did the voice of many of his classmates.
"Yeah, Kacchan?" Izuku was pacing the living room floor.
"You know that bad feeling you had this morning?" Katsuki waits for an affirmative hum before continuing, "I get what you mean now. I have a bad feeling about this. If I randomly hang up or stop responding, call someone."
Izuku gulps, "What? Kach-h-haan what's going on? Are you sure the day is gonna go good?"
Katsuki breathes, "I don't know Izuku."
