"Love, allow me to introduce you to the demon siblings, the children of the Demon King. This is Crowned Prince Skizz, Princess Pearl, the Princess Royal and Prince Impulse," Scott positively beamed as he came close enough to the trio that he had the honour to call his friends, "Your Royal Highnesses, please allow me the pleasure of introducing you to my fiancé, the Duke of Aquatia and Frostine."

"Your Royal Highnesses," Will bowed respectfully, he was more nervous speaking to someone who wasn't Scott, he did not want to mess up any diplomatic relationships the kingdom had, "It is an honour."

"The honour is all ours, Your Grace. Now I must say, your accent is exquisite!" Impulse commented, smiling at the half Fae with a cheeky glint in his eye.

"Thank you, Your Royal Highness," Will kept his head bowed, blushing a little.

"Oh none of that nonsense, you can call me Impulse," Impulse smiled lovingly, "After all, someone as handsome as you shouldn't have to bow. You are absolutely gorgeous My Lord."

Will turned a pale shade of pink, looking between Impulse and Scott, he was not sure how he was meant to respond.

The oldest demon hybrid, Skizz, whacked his brother playfully, almost like he was used to conversations divulging into flirting.

"You and your flirting Impulse. One day you're going to have a very grateful partner," Scott turned to talk to Will, "Impulse and I grew up together with Lady Gem, he's flirted with me and a few of our friends for years."

Will nodded slightly as he tried to wrap his head around the situation while still feeling warm and fuzzy from the affection, "Thank you Impulse," they smiled politely to the demon prince.

Pearl, getting bored of the conversation, spoke to Will "Wanna come out to the gardens Your Grace? I'm going to go see Grian!"

"May I?" Will asked Scott, he had spoken to Grian before a few times when he was in the human realm or the avian kingdom with Graecie. He was quite excited to see him again and swap stories as they often did, the tales of the high seas and the kingdom in the sky.

"Of course lovely," Scott pressed a small kiss to his forehead, "Could you say hello to Grian for me?"

"Of course, love," Will returned the kiss gently, offering a hand to Pearl, "Ma'am."

"Oh void no, call me Pearl," Pearl corrected, taking Will's hand.

"Then you can call me Will," They smiled as the demoness pulled him out into the candle lit garden, directly towards a specific parrot hybrid.

"Pearl!" Grian pulled the demoness into his embrace, "Hey Will! I haven't seen you in ages!"

"Dude! It's been so long! How is Parrot's Palace going?" Will pulled back, settling into a comfortable conversation with the parrot and demoness.

"Honestly it's gorgeous! You need to see it one day, especially now that you are engaged to the Crowned Prince!" Grian chirped, his wings fluttering in excitement.

"I'm definitely going to be able to see you a lot more now!" Will responded happily.

Back inside the ballroom, Scott had been left alone with Impulse, "Impy, you worried him a bit there. Though he looked very cute when you complimented him."

Impulse chuckled apologetically, "He's very handsome, you picked a good consort Scott, I am very happy for you."

"Thank you, you know, one day maybe I can bring you in too? As soon as possible, for both of our sakes," Scott offered his hand, "But for now, we have to settle for a waltz."

Impulse took his hand and bowed sweepingly, a teasing chuckle escaping his lips, "Anything for Your Royal Highness."

Scott giggled slightly, letting Impulse lead him around the ballroom, watching as his brother danced with Owen.

"I've never heard him speak," Impulse commented as the music began to play.

"His father's captain does not let him and truly neither does his father because they are keeping secrets from him," the Fae prince explained to the demon prince, his anger for the captain rising uncomfortably in his chest.

"Horrible men they are, but I know they will be treated better in your palace," Impulse spun Scott out and pulled him back in, "Spoiled and pampered with all the love and respect he deserves."

Scott hummed in agreement, "That he will be."

From across the room, Will re-entered the ballroom from the garden on his own, smiling at the sight of his fiancé having fun with his friends.

"What the hell have you done?" Came the angry voice of Merton beside Will, it was hissed to avoid drawing attention but the anger was present as ever.

"Her Ladyship, The Lady Graecie Caravel of the Fae Realm!" A voice cut off the conversation before it could become a heated argument, Will thanked the void at that moment for the intervention.

The cousin of the princes entered the room, greeting her aunt and uncle respectfully before she approached Will and Merton, "Your Grace. Elyas," she curtsied to Will and not Merton, she knew that it would annoy Merton that she did not acknowledge him as the higher ranked of the duo anymore.

Elyas bowed, as much as he did not want to, but he knew that it was not worth offending such a close friend and relative of the princes.

Will silently thanked Graecie with his eyes, "Lady Caravel, may I offer you a dance?" He offered a hand, "It has been too long since we caught up."

Graecie smiled softly, "You may, My Lord and I agree, it had been far too long since we were able to chat."

Merton went to argue but the deadly look in Graecie's eyes made him reconsider. He would find Will later if he must but he swore to the void that he would be having a conversation with the half human boy if it was the last thing he did. He watched like a hawk as his ward led the queen's illegitimate niece towards the centre of the dancefloor.
