The horse came to a halt just as his rider had asked, standing perfectly still for the prince to hop off his back.

Scott dismounted his saddle gracefully, holding his hand up to the child that remained on his happy horse, "Today you get to meet my husband, Will, he is also a half born just like you."

"And I get a name!" The young half born cheered excitedly, taking hold of Scott's hand gratefully, though it did comfort him to know that there was another half born just like him.

"That too kiddo," Scott helped him dismount safely, "Now remember what I taught you?" He asked with a cheeky glance to the side where he saw his very puzzled husband giving him a questioning look.

The tabaxi nodded and approached Will, after Scott had pointed him out to confirm it was definitely the prince consort, bowing his head with a toothy grin, "Hello, Your Grace!" he beamed cutely, his nose twitching in excitement.

Will felt a warmth spread across his chest at the sight of the small boy smiling, "Hello to you too! What is your name dear?" He asked as he knelt to the tabaxi's height.

Scott approached behind the young boy and picked up the half cat, "That, my love, is up to you because as of last night, he is our son."

Will blinked once, then smiled as he stood, "Well then, let me start again. Hello there, my name is Will and Scott is my husband, I hear you are after a name?" He knew Scott would explain in due time.

The cat hybrid nodded excitedly, his wings fluttering behind him in excitement and joy, "Yes please! It's nice to meet you Will!"

"Do you like the name Simon?" Will asked, raking through names in his head, he never thought he'd ever get to name a child.

The tabaxi shook his head a little, the name did not resonate with him.

"Thomas?" Will spitballed, enjoying the creative liberties he had been granted.

"Not really me," he replied from Scott's arms, resting his head on Scott's chest.

"Tobias?" Scott offered, holding his new son close with a protective look in his eyes.

"I like that as maybe a middle name?" The cat hybrid nodded excitedly, feelings of happiness and the love and acceptance bubbled in his chest.

"How about Oscar? We could even call you something like Oz if you like it?" Will asked, smiling as the tabaxi's ears perked up in excitement, he was hopeful that this would be the name.

"Is it okay if you only use Oscar if you have to? It's a big fancy name but I really like Oz!" He asked, he definitely liked the name Oz.

"Absolutely, your formal name can be Oscar Tobias Renais-Denholm but we can call you Oz," Will offered with a big smile on his face, "Would you like to see your room before the big wedding tonight?"

Oz immediately lit up with excitement glistening in his eyes, "Thank you Your Grace!" He tilted his head again.

"You may call me Will, sweet thing," Will took Oz from Scott's arms into his own, "Scott dear, will you be joining us?"

Scott sighed quietly, "I must be ready for my wedding, I shall see you tonight my love, see you later Oz."

Will accepted a chaste kiss on his cheek from his husband, "Of course," he smiled, carrying Oz away.

Oz settled into the arms of the consort, "Mr Scott is marrying Miss Katherine?" He questioned carefully, careful not to cross a line with the prince by marriage.

"Yes sweet one," Will confirmed, "But they are not in love like that, they are best friends," he explained quietly as he walked through the halls of the grand manor home, "But for now, Kat is going to be Scott's wife."
