We were sitting on a bench under the moonlight, eating an ice cream and watching people walk in the park(mostly couples).
Well the silence between us was pretty awkward after what I did.
Flashback
I didn't know for how long we had kept our foreheads joined together and breathed the same air. I had calmed down and was feeling warm...the kind of warmth which felt unusual to my body after yearning it for days.
I opened my eyes to see his closed ones, my gaze falling on his lips. Dried yet red lips which for some reason I wanted to have on mine.
Coming out of my stance and noticing our position, I pushed him to the side with force and pulled myself back looking outside the window.
I heard a loud groan. From the reflection of his on the window I could see him rubbing the area where he got hurt. I shut my eyes tightly and said sorry in my mind.
My face felt insanely hot to the point where I could tell that my face and monkey's butt wouldn't have a significant difference to look at.
"Naina, Oh my god! It hurts!" He cried. I gently turned back to look at him who was holding his forehead in his hands.
"I am sorry. A-are you alright?" Stuttering I tried to look at his bruise.
"Of course it hurts! What the hell did you eat?! My gosh! Felt like I was being pushed by a fucking car!" He caressed his forehead.
"I-I am sorry...I just-I pushed you by mistake. Do we need to go to the hospital?!"
"No silly, I am fine. But seriously tell me..."
I continued to look at him to finish his sentence.
"Tell what?"
"What did you eat? Do you by any chance workout?"
