Yes. I know I ghosted y'all, but I made some important life decisions and took a break. I attended a wedding and am currently studying for my exams.
Lmao, I share my insights like y'all would care about it.
But anyway, this chapter isn't best of my work. I wanted to make it special, but here I am. I am currently having a writer's block and am out of ideas.
If any one of you have some good ideas and want them to feature in this story do message me privately. (Not me asking y'all for ideas ;-;)
But please wait for a good update till then and keep supporting Tishngai.

Life took an unexpected turn, and amidst the routine chaos, a subtle joy found its way into my days. Naina and I had become "friends" as she liked to call it. It was about a month ago, and I marveled at how effortlessly we had slipped into this camaraderie.

There was a certain freshness to our conversations, a cuteness in the way we exchanged thoughts and laughter. I found myself stealing moments between meetings, fingers dancing over the phone as I sent her a quick text. The thrill of getting caught by a colleague only added to the charm of those stolen moments.

It became a routine, a delightful interruption in the mundane. We talked about everything - from the mundane details of our days to the dreams we harbored. There was an unspoken comfort, a connection that went beyond the surface. And as each day unfolded, I couldn't help but appreciate the warmth that had quietly settled between us, turning the ordinary into something quite extraordinary.

Arnav leaned against my desk, a mischievous grin playing on his face. "Hey, buddy, you've been in la-la land for a good five minutes. What's the secret behind that goofy smile of yours?"

I looked up, slightly startled. "Oh, just some texts, you know?"

Arnav raised an eyebrow, "Texts, huh? Don't tell me you're becoming a love-struck puppy already. Remember, you're the man; don't let yourself become a pet of your wife!"

I laughed, realizing how caught up I had been. "No worries, Arnav. Just navigating the friend zone, you know?"

Arnav smirked, "Friend zone? It's been a month, pal. Hasn't your 'friendship' moved forward from the casual text stage?"

I shrugged, "I kind of like it this way, Arnav. No pressure, no complications. Just friends."

He gave me a skeptical look, "Just friends? You do remember that you're not in the friend zone, right? You're married! Husband and wife, not just buddies."

I nodded, "I know, Arnav. But being friends feels normal. We don't fight; we enjoy each other's company. It's refreshing."

Arnav sighed, pushing himself off the desk. "You're a strange one, my friend. Just make sure you don't turn into that clichéd husband who becomes a complete pushover. Keep the balance, alright?"

I chuckled, "Don't worry, Arnav. I've got it under control - the art of being a husband and a friend, all at once."

As I entered the room, her laughter filled the air, a melody that made my heart skip a beat. The soft glow of the television accentuated her beauty, casting a warm halo around her. She looked absolutely stunning, her eyes lit up with joy, and the way her laughter danced in the room was nothing short of enchanting.Taking in the sight, a spontaneous smile spread across my face. I found myself drawn to the corner of the bed, captivated by the happiness radiating from her. She noticed my presence, and her face lit up even more with a big, welcoming smile.
