Sometime later, Briar and the others are able to defeat the monsters.
Cater sighs in relief, "Phew. We fended 'em off."
"I keep throwin' the beans and they just ain't hittin' the monster team! I'd better pick 'em up off the ground..." Grim says, and picks up the beans.
Cater then walks to the cabin, "Let's see what the loot crate's got now." he opens it up to see a, "A bean blaster—the smaller model. Bean bags, two magic camo jackets... And a magic potion. It says it shrinks someone for thirty seconds. I'd call that a pretty good haul! Might as well put the camo jackets on now."
Then passes a jacket to Briar, "Here, Briar, take one."
Briar takes the jacket, "Thank you." Then she puts it on.
Then Cater does the same, and is wearing a white jacket with black, yellow, orange, and red patterns, along with goggles.
"Ta-dah! How do I look? Totally rad? Totally bad? Or both?" Cater asks.
"It looks cool," Briar says.
Then Grim says, "I don't get it. How are all those loud colors supposed to be camo for anything? Seems to me like it's paintin' a target on your back."
Cater then says, "Tsk, tsk, tsk! This is a MAGIC camo jacket, remember?
"Camo jacket?" Sereia replies, confused.
Cater explains, "The colors look loud to friendlies, but from the monster team's POV, they make you blend in with your surroundings optic camo-style."
"That would really come in handy," Briar says, and wraps herself with the jacket, "AND it keeps you warm and comfy!"
"All of which is to say, scoring loot like this makes for one PERFECTLY 'cammable moment. Let the selfies...begin!" Cater says and takes a selfie again. Then types on his phone, "Hashtag #NRC #Beanfest #SupplyCrateLewt #RIPDeucey."
Then puts his phone away, "Now that we're all geared up, let's start making our way toward the coliseum."
"Sounds like a plan to me!" Grim says.
But suddenly... "Hey! Found some farmers!" "GET 'EM!"
The group turns to see more students on the monster team.
"Whoa, yikes! This area's crawling with monster team members!" Cater says.
Suddenly, another monster member appears, "You're not gettin' past us, farmers! Nobody's laying a hand on the magic harp."
"We've got more up ahead!" Briar says.
"Guess we'll have to fight our way outta this," Cater says and holds his blaster, "Let's rock!"
"Right!" the girls say.
"Yeah! Let's get 'em!" Grim says, ready to fire more beans.
And with that, Briar, Cater, Grim, and Sereia begin to fire more beans at the monsters.
