Sometime later in the Night Raven College, Briar, Cater, and the others manage to escape.

Cater pants in exhaustion, "We managed to shake the monster team for now. And nothing calls for a selfie quite like a near-death experience! Hashtag #NRC #Beansfest #WhatAWorkout."

"I'm just glad we're able to get out of there," Sereia says.

Grim turns back, "Jade never did catch back up with us."

"You're right. Where did he go?" Briar wonders.

"Oh, I'm sure Jade can handle himself. I'm more worried about our dwindling ammo," Cater says, "Let's try to score some more supply crates en route to the coliseum."

Meanwhile, the monster team... At the Coliseum...

Azul is checking on the data, "According to my scanner, both teams have decreased significantly in size. We should expect more farmer teams to start angling for the coliseum, to take the harp."

Jack growls, "Grrr... I've gotten the hang of the grabbing arm. I can grab every intruder that comes."

"No kidding. It was exhausting to get any farmers coming their way," Jasper says.

"True, but Jack got a lot more Farmers than we did," Tanzanite says.

"I suspected that arm was the perfect weapon for someone with your stamina and dexterity, and you know what? I do so love being right. You snagged over fifty farmers between when we left the school buildings and when we got back to the coliseum. I daresay you're positively monstrous," Azul says with confidence.

Jack scoffs, "Hmph. If that's your idea of buttering me up, don't bother."

"Heh... That extra PE credit is as good as ours," Azul says.

Tanzanite mutters, "It's best to not get overconfident...."

Meanwhile, the farmer team...

Briar, Cater, and the others are at Main Street.

Cater sighs in relief, "Phew, we finally got some beans. Good thing there were still some supplies left."

"It's kinda strange, now that I think about it. We haven't run into many monsters lately," Grim says.

"You're right," Sereia says.

"Not too surprising," Cater says, " It's been a minute since the game started. I imagine both teams have been dropping like flies. But this is where things really start to heat up. The survivors at this point are gonna be the most dangerous guys around."

"Hah! Well, I ain't scared. We're fulla beans and ready for anything!" Grim says with confidence.

"Don't say that..." Briar says.

"Way to jinx us, Grimmy!" Cater says.

But suddenly, "Gah!"

And something comes flying at them. Everyone ducks their heads, and soon, Trey and Rook appear.

"Sorry to immediately capitalize on that, guys," Trey says with a smirk.

"Greetings and salutations, mes amis," Rook says.

"Yikes! Trey and Rook! That's TWO vice housewardens," Cater yelps.

"I'm afraid your game is at an end," Rook says, "For I, le Chasseur d'Amour, and Trey, the Chevalier des Roses, shall be delivering your coups de grâce."

Trey says, annoyed, "I keep asking you to stop calling me that."

"But why?" Rook questions, "What more fitting title is there for the adjutant to the Roi des Roses?"

"It's just really embarrassing, man," Trey says, frustrated.

He soon calms himself, "Ahem. Anyway, let's put a pin in that for now."

"Oui. We have some quarry to hunt first," Rook says.

Just then, Cater says, "Briar, Sereia, Grimmy, get ready! Here they come!"

"Right," The three answers.
