Purpose. Some say it is what you choose for yourself, others would claim that you were born having a sole purpose to fulfill.

Usefulness. A term defining what level of assistance you would be under a circumstance of some type.

A person can outgrow their purpose, outlive their usefulness for a scenario of one type, but never, should they accept death in face of that. Nor should they have it forced upon them.

Annabeth and Piper sold them out for their parents praise. Even then Zeus only got to a few of them.

The Stolls, Leo and Frank died for their escape; Clarisse and Reyna found out too late to assist them.

Thalia, Nico, Jason, Hazel... The gods caught up to them. Percy. The children of the eldest three, Percy alone survived. Heartbroken and Numb Percy couldn't allow himself to be captured else risk the gods crimes never being discovered.

How he found himself on Othrys, talking to Atlas was another question in itself. What he learned, only made him more pissed.

Dangerously, pissed.

...

Kronos stared at him for a full five seconds before giving Atlas the most disbelieving look from where the titan stood behind him, brow raised.

The others of the titanic council still reformed around them and Percy winced at the feeling of the blood from his slit hand still continuing drip.

"How in the name of Chaos did you get him to willingly resurrect us?"

Percy scoffed, "Believe me, you weren't my first choice."

Honestly, Percy didn't want to bring them back in the slightest, but they were technically the best choice. And no one would suspect their return because the only one who could bring them back before the new millennium would be him.

Kronos glared at him, "What is it you want?'

Percy looked him dead in the eyed as the other titans finished reforming and drew blades shocked at his presence there. "I want to put you on the throne and tear Olympus apart brick by brick."

Silence.

"Oh, you also have the support of Hades, Poseidon, Hermes, Apollo, Artemis and Hestia. Provided you don't touch their kids without provocation."

Silence.

Percy rolled his eyes, "Did I break him?" He questioned Atlas, the titan shrugging.

"If I hadn't just seen you do the impossible, I would be equally thus." Atlas said dryly, gesturing behind him at the gagged form of Ares baring the burden of the sky.

Percy's eyes flashed darkly, unbeknownst to him, a deep purple, "A God of War for a Titan of Strength." He said coldly, "You'd think he would choose his enemies more wisely."

Kronos shook himself out of his stupor and while he still eyed Percy suspiciously, he agreed. "I'll accept your terms on a condition."

Percy looked at him dispassionately, waiting for him to go on.

"Tell me what happened."

Beneath them, the earth quivered, and a shudder ran through the sleeping form of mother earth snapping open shocked green eyes.

The cries of outrage that poured from the mountain kept muffled by the hands of Mother Night at behest of the three fates who's eyes shone with muted rage at the Olympians who had finally gone too far.

The final act had begun, the primordials arose, and the strings of fate were held in sword calloused hands.
