I sit up in my bed.

"What the heck, I could have sworn I heard laughter?"

I stand up from my bed and head over to the fridge to get some milk.

"3 AM." I state.

After a large gulp of milk I put the glass down in the sink and go to brush my teeth.

It is a bit early, but it is better to start the day with the sun rising than to wait and the sun is already high in the sky.

On a deep winter's day it is pitch black outside still, the sky showing signs that the sun will rise in  a few hours.

I put on some sweats and head out for a jog.

The day is crisp not a single soul in sight other than the birds sleeping in their nests and other wildlife. Past me is over all the crud I have taken in the past, the me now, however cannot take a break.

A kind couple was nice enough to let me borrow their son's old room for the night.

But now it is time to keep moving forwards.

After my jog I head back in and see my previously torn uniform stitched up nicely but thrown in a pile. The seams were barely visible and my bones wouldn't be exposed.

"So you were hiding here Crossy~"

"That voice." I start looking around frantically.

I finally spot him. Hanging in the corner of my room's ceiling.

"Get down now!" I hiss.

"Make me." He says pulling himself onto the wall. Like a spider Error clings to the wall.

"Alright watch me." I point at him.

I start looking around for anything. Something long and hard to reach and beat some sense into him.

I find a broomstick.

"Get over here!" I say in a definitely not Mortal Kombat voice.

Error begins to hiss like a cat and starts dodging, still clinging to the ceiling like  he was possessed.

I wack him two or three times before he falls and lands straight on the broomstick.

Błøøð was left on the stick half.

Error face down snaps his fingers and summons a portal underneath himself.

"Did I just... kill him?"

This was the first time I made Error retreat, my nemesis is dead, I have won.

I was wrong. Dead wrong.

"Hiya, Crossy. Missed me?"

He Strikes me at the side of my head and the world goes dark.

But I can't. I can't lose consciousness here.
