Two months later...
Error had what we call a ghost pregnancy where the development was unseen and all of a sudden his water broke.
He thought I was kidding, but I know him, despite all his weirdness i was able to predict it.
I sit down carrying a blanket and holding the little girl.
"We should call her Corre. It is our names mixed together."
Well mostly Error's.
She has grey bones and Red eye sockets just like Error, the only difference is the eye lights.
Glowing royal blue eye lights with a center pupil that is the same color as Error's strings.
She has an almost mystical look to her.
"Corre means run in Spanish."
"Like run a program?" Error asks innocently.
"Yeah, sure."
But it pays off to see that gorgeous smile.
PC runs into the room.
"Meet your new baby sister, PC."
_______
Of course things weren't the same after the failed genocide route but we made the most of what we had.
The doorbell rings as error is breastfeeding Corre magic.
I throw on a shirt and head down stairs.
When I get to the door and open it it is the sans of this AU.
He rocks nervously and looks up at me.
"You know, it is a lot." He sadly says.
I swing my hand out letting him know that he is free to enter the house.
He walks in taking off his shoes, I notice that they have grass in them.
"Thanks, your company helped deal with the loss of my brother. I. . . It is just so much to think about even still." He says walking to the dining room table. I bought some spinach broth soup for you two."
I feel my eyes sockets widen.
"Tell me, is this meal from those two mice?"
"Kiko and Piko?"
"Yeah."
"It is." He says with a light smile.
"Go get Rorre, and PC as well as Corre."
The entire family is gathered at the table PC being assisted with his food as Corre lies in a playpen with a toy.
She is making a lot of noises now from giggles to squeals her cheeks blush white on those grey bones of hers and I can't help but feel a swell of pride that she is my daughter.
Unlike PC she didn't show any signs of destructive magic.
There was a sense of familiarity that this serene moment froze and we will forever feel this great sense of love and hope.
Knock Knock.
'Another knock? I wonder who that could be?'
I open the door and peer outside. A soaking wet Ink.
"What the heck happened to you Ink?" Error says.
"None of your business, Error." He says with a cheerful smile.
"Ink, why are you here?"
"Your creator would like to talk to you." Ink says introducing himself into the house.
"Put those slippers on, and two I have nothing I want to say to that b@stard." I whisper hiss.
"Yeah well, it isn't like you have a choice. He has been letting you stay in this universe because in the deepest reaches of his soul somewhere he cares about you. I really don't think that he would approve." Ink says looking at the playpen and the high chair pushed up to the table.
I seat myself down at the table and look at Error, my Rorre. Things cannot end. Not like this.
________
Now standing in front of XGaster, I find myself feeling small.
His eyes zero in as he allows himself in.
"T-take off your shoes." I say stuttering.
He removes his boots albeit begrudgingly.
Error lightly walks down the stairs, probably just put our two kiddos to bed.
"It's late." Error says softly. He sits down at the table and places his head down.
"Why are you here." I ask refocusing on XGaster.
He chuckles.
"No reason. So you're living with that thing aren't you?" He says. "Pity, I expected more from you. For you to give in so willingly to this idea."
"If you have nothing good to say why even say it at all?" I ask angrily, frustrated that he is still here. That is until I hear a slight snore from Error, easily cheering me up.
"Well, we already tried best of the best, but I haven't thought of this yet." He smiles cryptically and heads up the stairs.
"H-Hey, where are you going?" I asks worriedly.
XGaster speeds up the stairs leaping over the baby safe gate we put up and begins opening doors.
I throw myself awkwardly over the gate just as he opens the door to the family room. Our sleeping quarters.
I storm after him hoping to catch up as a elated horrifying grin is plastered over his face.
He marches inside and just as I get to the door I see him standing over the two beds.
Scanning them with a check I suppose as a screen pulls up in front of his face.
He reaches down into PC's bed then halts.
"I suppose that this one's destructive abilities are the strongest. I wonder why?" He says flicking away the dusting finger tip as he overwrites himself.
"Get away from my children." I growl, not moving from the doorway.
He then says.
"The ability to reset? My, my. Strange how he has it. Being monster kind and all."
He turns to the other one.
"She isn't necessarily special. Her dormant ability to run code could perhaps be useful."
"Useful? They are children. Leave them out of your plans."
"But, it would be a shame not to. Building something more than useless muck. A story where there are no similarities. Where nothing is the same. In the meantime, bring your partner here."
"..."
"You won't?"
"Then I guess I will do it myself."
Error appears before me and to make me feel more useless, He overwrites Error.
"Make lots of children for me.
"I shall be back."
"You can't make me! I will never give you anything."
"Well you can tell that to Error."
Error stands and then walks towards me now. I am unsure what my father did to him until he begins to peel off his clothes.
"Oh, and Cross, have fun."
