I land in Outertale and teleport around until I find Error.

"There you are." I say relieved.

"You were looking for me?" He asks looking at me with his stunningly mesmerizing eyes.

"I...Um... Yes?"

I almost missed it but a small smile graces his face.

Error turns back to the stars.

"Do you ever feel guilty killing all of them?" I ask curiously.

"Do I what?" Error answers.

"Feel guilty."

"Yeah. I can still hear their screams at times and their voices. But it is a thankless job. Might as well enjoy it."

"Then why continue destroying? There isn't anything to enjoy alone."

"Stop trying to change me. It won't work." He says.

He pulls out a chocolate bar and I watch as he takes the entire thing whole and just gulps it down.

"How does that even fit." I mutter taking note that he likes chocolate.

"My tongues."

"Your what?" I ask wanting clarification.

"My tongues help me digest it." Error says pulling the wrapper out of his mouth.

I look on with amazement at the clean wrapper.

'Aye what that tongue do?'

"You're drooling." Error points out to me.

"Oh." I then wipe my mouth with the back of my hand.

"Don't you want to be good?" I ask. "You would have a lot more friends if you stop killing them."

"That is a lie. all of my friends are dead. They are dead! Do you hear me?"

"I know. But it couldn't hurt to make new friends. Like maybe..." I slide my hand over to his and gently touch his hand. "... Me?"

He pulls his hand away fast as lightning.

"Don't touch me!" He exclaims.

'He must be sensitive to touch, that must be why he doesn't like it.'

"Anyways. I can't be good. There is no redemption left for me."

I think back to everything that Error has ever done to me. He isn't wrong, but everyone deserves a second chance. Even I had a chance to move on from darkness. Error is just in a deeper, darker place.

"How am I to save you Error?" He turns to face me when I ask him.

"Save me?" He grins. "What makes you think you can save me?"

I smile back.

"To see what you would have looked like before you became the destroyer. To see your smile, a true genuine smile."

"So that is what you want me for." He tilts his head slightly and moves close to my skull.

"Good luck trying to find someone long dead. I gave him up long ago. Belief in heaven is where people greedily want their wish for bliss to happen. I say f-ck them, to all those who find happiness without struggle and already have happiness. Why couldn't I get that same favoritism?"

[Give You Wings]

"I wish to restore your sanity. Your peace of mind at all costs."

"Are you willing to die for it?"

"Eh!! I am not going that far for you."

"Heroes, they never seem to understand." Error pouts waving a hand in my direction shooing at me.

"Oh come on Error!" I shout. "Why would I let myself die for you?"

"Devote yourself to me Hero."

"Yeah right. Don't forget until I see your pure smile, I hate you."

"Were you not enjoying the view up from now?"

I pause and look at Error.

Those eyes. In the glittering starlight. Such a beautiful view. Is it wrong for me to admire it now?

"Give me your hand."

He holds out his hand.

"Just like that." I say gently talking his hand in mine.

His eye sockets widen from the hand holding. He then blushes and pulls his scarf up over his face with his free hand.

"Okay, that is enough."

When he lets go he opens a portal to the Anti-Void and we both head back together.
