"What are you doing here, Ink?"
"Cross! There you are!" Ink says pushing his way past me and walking into the house.
"I would say take your shoes off but that doesn't seem to apply to you. So put these guest slippers on." I say handing him a pair of indoor flip flops.
I follow Ink into the house and he sits down at the dining table.
"So, why are you here?" I ask, pulling out a chair and sitting down.
"You're lucky this place is back online after Error passed through." He mutters to himself.
I poke him and he returns back to his normal— that is if you can call it normal— self.
"Why are you here?"
Ink looks around and points at himself.
"Yes you! My stars why are you being so fvcking slow?"
"Just to see you silly." He says sticking his tongue out.
I sit deadpan before running my left hand over my face.
'Surely he is here for some reason?'
I hear creaking and turn around.
Waiting, peeking from the staircase is Error, watching silently as a cat I divert my attention back to Ink who was staring at me intently.
He tries to look behind me, but I block his gaze.
"Wonder what possessed you to buy a house in Outertale of all places?"
He shifts over and looks again.
Tracing his gaze I look and Error thankfully is gone.
He smiles.
"You're hiding something aren't you?"
My eye sockets tighten their gaze as Ink stands up.
Glowering as he makes himself clearly at home in our home.
"Ink, it was nice of you to come, but it is time for you to leave." I say.
"Awe, come on. It's too easy."
He sprints over to the counter and peers behind it.
"Found ya!"
All I hear is a high pitched electronic squeal followed by a windows vista crash noise to know exactly what happened.
"So you two are still together. And here I thought you were only there to fvck untouchable pvssy."
"So, what's it to you?"
"Why did you stay?" Ink asks.
I couldn't find an answer.
"Someone got your tongue?"
He grins.
"But is it really fair to Error if you are only there for his body?"
"Stop." I call out. Covering the sides of my head I crouch down and focus on my breaths.
I reach out for Error and pull my arms around him.
"This is an interesting development." He turns and looks at the kitchen.
"Huh, I wonder." He mutters.
"Wonder what?"
"How—" He cuts himself off when Error boots back to life. "Never mind."
"My want for Error goes beyond anything you may think." I say gathering my strength and standing up. "Can't I want to see someone smile so badly that you have to be the one who makes them smile?"
Ink stares with a kind of unreadable gaze.
"I am actually in shock. But as long as there will be no more messing up of the multiverse I am sure this union will be fine."
Ink gives us a thumbs up before taking off the slippers I gave him at the door and going outside the house.
"So, you have another round in you?" Error asks after he leaves.
And I can't even complain. I took that opportunity like it was my final meal.
[Author here, was thinking of adding an actual plot but keeping it as light hearted as possible.]
[Cross trying to take all of Error's sins and be accepted fully into his soul. Error: jokes on you, I am into that sh!t. Cross: Good then we are both in agreement. Error: Wait what?]
