I woke up to my mom shaking me in the car. I open my eyes to see the bright light of light sun. "We finally made it to our new house!" My mom said. I jerked up and ran out of the car to look at the house. I looked up to see a huge house. The house was mostly white but had some hints of blue in it. There were so many windows that you could practically look right through the house. The roof was black and there was a HUGE driveway. Connected to the house was a 3-car garage which only my rich friends had at their house back home. There were so many beautiful plants that I would never see at home because of the cold. The house was perfect.

"Oh my gosh! This house is huge!" I said in awe, "This house has to be like triple the size of our old as back home. We're really gonna live here?!"

"I guess we are. This house is way bigger than what I saw in the picture. There is enough room for when you get a car in the garage. And I'm guessing there is plenty of room for all my work stuff too." She started to walk up to the door with the house keys in her hand. She put the key into the door lock and then revealed the gorgeous house.

Inside the house when you walk in there is a big glass staircase leading to the second floor. To the right of the stairs looked to be a living room which I was guessing my mom was gonna make into her office. On the left of the stairs was a stunning kitchen. The kitchen had blue cabinets and marble-looking counters. There was one of those double oven things, a kitchen island (which I and my mom had been wanting for ages), a fridge that blended in with the cabinets, and a breakfast nook looking into the front yard.

"This kitchen is like the prettiest one I've ever seen. Like we finally have enough room for us to cook." I look around the kitchen and open a door, "OMG! We have a pantry! I've always wanted one! Our last house didn't have one!"

"I knew you were gonna like that one." She said while smiling, "Go upstairs and pick your bedroom!"

"Okay!"

"There 4 bedrooms but one of them is master so don't pick that one!"

I laughed, "I promise you I won't."

I went upstairs and looked at all of the bedrooms. I knew that I always wanted a bedroom with a bathroom and a walk-in closet which I didn't think would be too hard to find in this house. I looked through the first two and then got to the last one. I walked in to find a pretty big room that seemed perfect for me. The room had exactly what I wanted, a bathroom and a walk-in closet. I looked out my window to see what my view would look like for a while. To my surprise, I saw a big square blue thing in my yard.

"We have a pool!!" I say while running down the stairs to my mom

"Yep! I wanted to keep that a surprise!"

I could see that she had brought in all the stuff from the car including Olivia. The moving truck wouldn't be here for another day which isn't too bad but still, I wanted my stuff. I reached out to pet Olivia who was curious about our new home.

"I love my new room so much. It's huge and it has everything that I've been wanting in it. I'm thinking about maybe we could get a vanity in my room?!?!"

My mom started to take some of our stuff upstairs so I picked up my pink backpack and my other bag to try and help bring up some of the stuff.

"I told you I didn't care. If you find one that you like I'll order it for you." She said as she walked up the stairs

"Really?!"

"Yes sweetie, now what room did you pick?"

"The one on the left," I said as I followed her to my new room
